Is that humor or It's a shame he's stuck on the bench. Dude should def try a move. Not like he has much time left. Just about 30. Multiple years in Belgium can't be great for the sanity
Now you get to watch TFC's garbage. I'm all for Mix to NYCFC, but Jozy to TFC is a shit move. Trading one shit situation for another. One ugly, direct, lob the ball at his face system for another. You'd have thought he learned from his time at Sunderland. Apparently not.
Good, now I can go back to giving zero f*cks about the BPL as opposed to the 1/16th of a f*ck I had been giving.
So will we blame Toronto's midfielders for not giving Jozy perfect service. I need to quickly find a new scapegoat and set Larsson and Johnson free.
but then we can just say bradley was played out of position. *Defoe has to be the smartest/luckiest player of all time. He starts max 15 games per year, scores 10 goals, gets injured, then sent to the bench, then he generates drama with the coach, the press get a hold of it, then he's off to another club or another managers problem.
* phone rings * "Hallo..." {Jürgen goes pale} *click* "Who was that?" "Gar... Garber..." "What's wrong?" "He's told me he's going for Cameron and Bedoya now..." "That bastard!"
There's a reason I've watched every second of Jozy at Sunderland... It is to see the dude score and be successful. I'm a big fan of Jozy, just not a fan of excuses. MB90 slotting thru balls to Jozy.... I'll watch that regardless of what league it is in.
My 10 cents worth is that for Jozy it's ugh: swapping one badly-owned, badly managed club that sacks managers like Jay-LO dumps toyboys - and has the history of underachievement that goes with it - is not going to improve him at all psychologically, never mind technically/ tactically. for Toronto it's good: Jozy has had better fitness down the years, is less of a flash git, has the body to do hold-up play (it's not his game but at MLS level he'll be OK at it) and is a hard worker, which is exactly what they need now. My guess is that the trade element of this deal nixed other teams' interest, with the holdup being the haggling over personal terms, but I'd have preferred another team*. *Wasn't Portland linked to him, or was that just speculation?
That was under O'neal as a manager, who is known for using wingers crossing to a poacher in the box. They weren't a good team, and he was fired, but he had an offensive identity.
