Haha he's quite frustrating to watch at times, he's so one-dimensional out on the wing, but he always provides a boost of energy and is decent in the air and quite physical. He would be a better fit as a striker imo

Mediocre game from Palestine, key offensive player not available due to club commitments in Saudi Arabian league.

Bahdari, definitely MOTM. Stopped all Chinese attempts!

    FT 0-0

Another strong performance but as usual we can't finish our chances. Very strong defensive display though with high pressure on the Palestinian players which left them unable to create anything dangerous, I don't think they had a single shot all game. Very good passing and movement from our players yet again as Perrin have managed to make us play pretty attractive football, very dominant in possession as well. However our recent friendly oppositions hasn't been of the highest level, so I'm not sure what level we ourselves are at the moment.

I'm glad both Iraq and Jordan aren't in their best shape, but we will not be able to make in the AC with just solid defense.. we must start scoring more.

Yeah, not making a single shot against us certainly isn't looking too good, especially considering how much we pushed forward with alot of players, you guys should've been able to get in a few counter attacks. We have a mutual problem, although we're atleast creating some chances, we simply can't finish them, and as you say we also must be scoring alot more to succeed in the AC. Wishing you the best for the AC!

For some reason, Perrin doesn't call Zhang up because he doesn't fit his "style of play."

No Feng Xiaoting? Our defense looks pretty weak. I would've taken Li Xuepeng over Mei Fang.

That's an extremely sh!tty defense there. Mei Fang can be horrible. Who is Zhang Linpeng's partner?

My guess it's Ren Hang. I think Perrin has played him as Zhang's centre back partner for a couple of the recent friendlies. The backline really is going to be fragile. Jiang Zhipeng at left back is a solid option, but he doesn't much international experience. Zhang Chengdong (surprisingly) is probably the best option at right back if Zhang is playing centre back.

I just don't understand the selection of Mei Fang at all. Li Xuepeng and Feng Xiaoting are hands down better options.
