Balanta isn't a free agent he can't leave till Jan.

Yepes could but he shouldn't be messing around and not get a club

Prefer Yepes in Colombia then Argentina.

Officialy Sanlo player for another 18 months. I'd say if he'll continue to perform well, he should be taken in consider for the 2015 Copa America (if he wants, of course)..

They will make mistakes and piss us off but they need to be ready for Russia and Quatar!!

Would be cool to see how he does against Real Madrid in the Club World Cup. (Assuming they both meet up in the Final.)

    I agree with Crzd.
    No more Yepes.

Im with crzd in this one........but more with pekerman, so if pekerman decides to call him up , it is because he will be important in the team.

I tought like Crzd before, but after I saw Mario in the world cup and now he'll play in a strong team like Sanlo (and world cup for clubs), I think that Copa 2015 and only Copa 2015 can also be his final int'l tournament in case that Pekerman and Mario himself would like it to be. It'll be absurd if Yepes will be a starter in Sanlo, with excellent form and won't be invited just because of his age. And regardless, we can still call the youngsters who can only learn from one of the best CB that we ever had.

Absurd? Not too many 37+ year olds active in professional futbol to begin with. I just don't see the long term (or short term either for that matter). Yepes can hold his head up high having accomplished his WC. He did a great job thru qualification and WC. So why not leave on a high at this point? You want to put him in the CA roster as the new Farid mentor, no problem. But he's going to want to start. Which means he's taking a spot from a position that we need to figure out the best 2-3 pretty quickly as it will be inevitable that he will not be playing the next WC.

even then Mondragon shouldn't have ever played. He goes as an assistant coach no problem. He goes to eat bench and take a spot for a player who could use the experience. HUGE PROBLEM !!

I don't see it like that because we have another CA and then qualifiers for the youngsters, so if Yepes will be in good form, don't see the problem to give him the CA 2015. I get your point, normally I would agree with as well, I just don't agree at the moment. But I also don't think that Pekerman will call him and we don't even know if Yepes is interesting to continue, so it's a huuge IF anyway.

watching the world club cup right now. San Lorenzo-Auckland....

I find it SO depressing to see how weak continents evolve at the expense of Conmebol and Concacaf. I'm not against them playing better I just wish they would do it at the expense of europe instead.

I don't know if it's the new continents raising their level or if it's conmebol declining. Probably bit of both.

The football of today is Europes clubs watching "bumfights" between the rest of the continents. And it shouldn't be that way. The world of football is bigger and bigger but the top is more and more concentrated to just one continent. Or a few nations.

Murillo and Balanta are still injured. He is a starter and his teams about to be champion.

    I'd call him over Valdez.
