I was watching the Niners-Hawks fun-fest yesterday and saw Colin K on the sideline wearing a flat-brim cap and thought he looked pretty ridiculous. I know part of this stems from the fact that I am from the Cenozoic Era, but 80+ years of "regular" baseball caps have made their mark. Anyway, I was trying to figure out what is so odd about the flat-brim caps, and it took me a while, but I finally noticed that they are much wider than the old-fashioned kind. Duh. So, here's my question. What is the top age that a guy can wear a flat-brim cap and not be some kind of poser douche? 30? 35? 40? need any more be said???
Ken Block, rally driver and, I believe, stuntman (who used to own DC Shoes), wears them a lot, and he is 47 (43 in the pic). Not a big fan of him or the hat.
Necro bump Those things look stupid no matter who wears them. The entire hat looks stupid, with the big forehead plate like it's designed to deflect bullets. Funny how you see them on gangbangers and farmers alike. Now, this shape here... ...is the only shape that ought to be allowed by law.
