excellent result at st Andrews tonight. steve may opens his scoring account, which is good. even when they've dropped points, Wednesday have tended to look decent. it's a long season, and time will tell if they have the depth, but I don't think it's a stretch to think that they could be in the hunt for the playoff places come the spring.

mandarich may be very pleased that he still owns the club (if he does) come the summer.

was this kid for a quid day or something? 30k seems like a large attendance for a match against reading. good to see, regardless... and that the boys got 3 points.

now let's pull a massive upset in the cup!

I saw the highlights last night. I know you were already 3 down but the red card looked really harsh, the referee will probably argue that it was last man but your defender stuck his leg out instictively and basically had no time to move it away, it's not like he fouled him on purpose. I'd like to see referees use common sense in situations like that where the foul is not intentional, the penalty was punishment enough an automatic red just kills the game as a contest.

I watched it and thought 1-1 was a fair result in the end, May missed a couple of sitters (especially that header before half time) but your keeper also made some great saves in the second half.
