Gao Lin is almost past his prime. I can definitely see Wu Lei going but I want to see him in the Bundesliga simply because more Asians have succeeded there. They need to be chary of going to big clubs at the start because they will probably that get much playing time. Hao Junmin is a perfect example. Should have signed for a weaker club in the Bundesliga instead of Shalke where he was inconsequential.

He´s playing as a lone striker, has had two bad touches of the ball in the last ten minutes, Porto are dominating even though they are one man down

    FT Porto 0-0 Boavista

Poor performance from Wei, poor ball control and positioning, although it´s not entirely his fault. Boavista played ultra defensive leaving Wei totally isolated alone up top with very little support from the midfielders. Very poor accuracy on the passing from Boavista overall aswell. Judging by how the game looked like you´d never believe Porto was one man down. He had one opportunity to score in the last second but he was judged to have controlled the ball with his arm. He looks way too small and weak to be playing as a lone forward though, but he´s still young so there´s much room for improvement.

Wei's a natural left winger, not a striker, so I think that played a factor as well. He had a decent game against Academica on his debut last week. Boavista was pretty lucky not to concede against 10-man Porto. The attack and defense were a mess today, but considering it's against Porto (who beat BATE in the Europa League 6-0), it's great that Boavista managed to keep a clean sheet and get a draw.

Huang Wei started for Farense against Beira-Mar in a 1-0 loss. He received a yellow card in the 2nd minute and was subbed off in the 70th minute.

Li Yuanyi was subbed on for Leixoes in the 77th minute in a 2-1 against Trofense.

It's a great result for them. 5 games, 1 goal scored and 8 conceded, and that 1 goal was in a 1-0 win lol. They'll have a hard time keeping themselves in the top divison that's for sure but if they manage to get these results who knows

It's rested against a small team. Seems he is an important player.

Anybody heard anything about Guan Hongyu? Apparently, he played (or is currently playing?) for Ull Kisa, a team in the Norwegian 2nd divison. But he hasn't played since late August and I don't see him on the roster any more. Released/cut perhaps?

Tan Long has signed a multi-year contract extension with Arizona United. He was one of their best players last season even though he transferred to the club in the middle of the season. He was also named in the USL Pro All-League Second Team at the end of the season.

Gao Zhunyi started and played the whole match in Kataller Toyama's 1-0 win against Tochigi on Saturday.

Wei Shihao was subbed on in the 65th minute in Boavista's 3-1 loss to Belenenses earlier today.

Seems like Huang Wei is currently the only Chinese with modest success in Europe. Also, late post, but Tan Yang scored for Farense Nov 16th.
