For the most part, I agree with that post. What I don't agree with is that leagues like 2. Bundesliga and the English Championship are better than MLS. We'll have to agree to disagree.
I watch plenty of MLS, I think we just live in different objective realities. Not that it has squat to do with Ale Bedoya.
Hello everyone. Let's leave the MLS vs. other leagues discussion for a different thread, please. It's off topic here.
Wherever that "different thread" is, I'm hoping I never find it. It's got to be a complete cesspool and among the worst places on the internet. In fact, if it were up to me, it would belong in the Containment Unit at the Ghostbusters headquarters
You should make a stickied thread for that in YA. Then every time this pops us, just move the posts there.
Be careful what you ask for. As you wish, @bshredder : http://forums.bigsoccer.com/threads/the-containment-unit-the-ya-league-comparison-cesspool.2011515/
Interviewed at FIFA.com: http://www.fifa.com/world-match-cen.../index.html?intcmp=fifacom_hp_module_news_top “He’s technically excellent and is also prepared to work,” is the assessment of Michel Der Zakarian, the Nantes coach whose side is tied with big-money powers Paris-Saint Germain on points.
Today played 78' against Lyon, subbed by the Venezuelan kid Aristeguieta. Did fairly well, Nantes dominated during the first half and Bedoya had two nice runs on the right, once serving a ball a decent striker would have buried. He had two shots on goal in the first, one of them a very nice header, both saved. Lyon scored in a FK against the run of play, soccer is unfair. In the second half he had another SOG, went out wide barely. By then they were 1-1 (penalty to Nantes), and shortly after got subbed. He was no part of the action that drew the penalty. Ale did enough to keep starting, IMO, First game in a while where he plays on the right.
As is the custom, Bedoya starting again for Nantes today against Guingamp L'équipe au départ d'#EAGFCN : Riou - Cissokho, Vizcarrondo, Djilobodji, Veigneau (c) - Gakpe, Veretout, Hansen , Nkoudou - Bedoya, Bammou— FC Nantes (@FCNantes) October 5, 2014
90 minutes for Bedoya as Nantes wins 1-0. Temporarily in fourth on 15 points, 1 goal behind Lille on GD. Seven teams tied on 14 points, including PSG, who play in 20 minutes.
You can make the Bedoya game threads in there if you'd like... it's pretty common for posters to put up results a few hours or day after the match
Still didn't make the squad. Is anything going on? http://www.espnfc.us/gamecast/393609/gamecast.html
He's had a slight hamstring injury..looks like they're targeting a return for him for their cup match on Tuesday, Oct. 28 http://www.ouest-france.fr/fc-nantes-bedoya-peut-etre-sur-pied-pour-laval-2927400
