I'm too depressed to talk about it. But maybe I should start a new thread for Sunday's game, maybe it will get rid of la mufa.

Looks like El Vasco is next in line

    ARRUABARRENA

I hope that at least the right adjustments are made because I know we have a great group of players and can improve.
The sudamericana matches are coming up so they better do it fast.

    2 questions...

    1. Do you think Arruabarrena had already arranged his contract before Bianchi was fired? It took less than 24 hours for him to be introduced, seems suspicious, and strange especially considering el Vasco played for Bianchi

    2. Not trying to be a pelotudo, but do you really think you have a great group of players? I mean you have a lot of players who were good at small provincial clubs but they haven't shown anything at boca

Good luck to Vasco. I had always felt he would end up managing Boca.

    Let's see here
I think that Boca's management had him in mind and needed to have a quick backup just in case things got real bad in which they did. When a bigger team loses a coach in the middle of a season they need to make sure they have a coach. No more interim BS. Although sometimes interims workout in other sports. So yeah I think he did since things were looking grim and they still do.

Do we have a great group of players? Yes I think we do. Is it a great group? No, that's the problem
I see River with lots of talent and everybody that is made to score is scoring. Right now Boca can't utilize players like Gigilotti, Acosta, Meli etc....
So yeah I think there's a lot of talent but that's as far as it goes.

I had to miss most of the game but I came in time for the chileno's goal.
I love Chavez' shot from the outside.
He was a great pick up
Also...I say bring it on to the gallinas even though they are playing well
I want to see a great superclasico

Can Chavez be considered the new Tevez yet or am I overstepping that boundary?
I definitely think he's on the right track though

Boca plays Banfield next and that's his old team
Wonder how that will go but I think he's going to be on the bench

Too soon. He's had a good start, but he's got a ways to go. I like the way you're thinking though. An approximation of Tevez would do my heart a lot of good right now.

Not a great game, but Boca dominated and Gigliotti scored a late goal. Now they have to go to Paraguay for the rematch.

If my calculations are right, if Boca eliminates Cerro and riBer eliminates Estudiantes (they won the first game 2-1), then Boca will be in next year's Copa Libertadores.

Boca 4 Cerro Porteño 1. riBer is next in the semifinals, and Boca has qualified for next year's Copa Libertadores.
