It probably depends on the player, though, and how valid that message. What player on the team wouldn't we sell if they wanted to leave and the price was right? Probably just Ronaldo.
I doubt even the club is that naive. If offers were on the table at the time he wouldn't be advertising the kit if he was "thinking" about it. It doesn't sit right with the image of what the basis of advertising is.
But there's a difference between someone showing up with an offer for X and you saying to X "we're open to moving you" before the window opens and/or any offer ever arrives. He's an adidas man. He's a company man. He knows what he's doing. Same shit with Ozil last year and his adidas promo at the RM store.. gone two days later. Let's not be naive ourselves. Anywho .... Alvaro Negredo = latest rumor. Off to practice.. I'm sure we'll have 85 other rumors by the time I get back.
City are apparently saying they are keeping Negredo, but this could make things interesting: http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/335769.html
Most definitely. I was more thinking about how the player receives the message though. If it is Marcelo or Xabi, that means to them that their starting position is in jeopardy. If it is Morata, it's a get the eff out message. If it's Diego Lopez or Iker Casillas, it's a might not play, then Navas gets but, and it becomes a GTFO message. The same message can be delivered and the context and meaning be very different. And I'm not entirely sure we don't do similar things each season. I'm sure both Ozil and Di Maria received a similar message last year.
I would be a little underwhelmed with Negredo. We just got a king's ransom for Di Maria. Not saying we need to overspend on Falcao, but there is a middle ground between him and someone who is already injured and out through October.
http://gianlucadimarzio.com/calcio-...a-notte-di-falcao-real-in-pole-la-situazione/ Falcao is certainly leaving Monaco, Madrid in pole position.
I do not want Negredo on this team at all I've been so busy the past 2 days haven't been able to fully follow whats going on with the transfers. Are we going to sign anyone or what?
http://www.calciomercato.it/news/29...l-madrid-esclusivo-c-laccordo-per-falcao.html Am I dreaming or is Falcao a Madrid player?
I THINK WE SIGNED FALCAO EXCLUSIF MONDIAL: REAL MADRID A ACHETE' RADAMEL FALCAO (ici les detalles @calciomercatoit http://t.co/P8rjjT7Hlv )— Tancredi Palmeri (@tancredipalmeri) August 28, 2014
He's some what reliable imo, I see him on BEIN Sport all the time. It says 20 million loan with obligation to purchase?
24 hrs ago I was sad and disappointed about the sales and transfers going on around this club (besides Kroos). Now I'm back to being excited for new members and to see how Carlo has us playing. If there is anyone smart enough to make this work, its Carlo. I suspect there will be good rotation going on so that players are satisfied. Cristiano, Bale, Ramos, Carvajal, and Modric are probably the only ones who have their starting spots set in stone. The rest provide good rotation to win the Liga as well as CDR. Maybe new members will give us the motivation to win the Undecima as well. Sky's the limit with Florentino as our president!
How do we know all these people aren't just reading what's been said on various social networks and are just repeating established rumors not to be left behind if the deal indeed does happen?
The Legend returns! Shore up your spelling and grammar folks Palmieri isn't really credible or reliable, none of the 'journos' on BeIN are they just feed off the Twitter scraps of others and recycle them....he may be "right" with this but it would be by accident
Why don't we just sign him this season then? Would there be a penalty clause inserted into the loan deal should we pull out or something?
It's probably right. Fits in with what the Mendes puppet published earlier on AS on it being finalised today.
