@IASocFan Can the "Or 2015" at the end of the topic title be deleted? This tournament has been on Gol TV in the past. Is there any news about TV coverage of this?
The kick-off times have changed. All times are Eastern Daylight Time Wednesday, September 3, 2014 – RFK Stadium, Washington D.C. 5:30pm Costa Rica vs. Nicaragua 7:30pm Honduras vs. Belize 9:30pm El Salvador vs. Guatemala Sunday, September 7, 2014 – Cotton Bowl, Dallas, TX 5:00pm Costa Rica vs. Panama 7:00pm Guatemala vs. Belize 9:00pm Honduras vs. El Salvador Wednesday, September 10, 2014 – BBVA Compass Stadium, Houston, TX 6:00pm Panama vs. Nicaragua 8:00pm El Salvador vs. Belize 10:00pm Honduras vs. Guatemala Saturday, September 13, 2014 – Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles, CA 6:00pm Third Place Group A vs. Third Place Group B 9:00pm Second Place Group A vs. Second Place Group B 12:00pm First Place Group A vs. First Place Group B The provisional squads are as follows: I didn't want to spam the North American Soccer Thread with this and I thought it may as well have it's own topic seeing as some Premier League players may be involved. It's an international competition for the Central American nations. Seven teams are involved. It's not a new competition but for the first time fixtures will be mostly taking place on FIFA international match dates meaning the teams can call up their first choice if they so wished. There is a problem though... the final takes outside of the international dates so there's bound to be issues there. The winner will qualify for the CONCACAF Gold Cup and the Centennial Cup (the 2016 'Copa America'). The other three semi-finalists also qualify for the Gold Cup. I don't know what's happening with the fifth placed team. There are rumours that there'll be a playoff between the fifth placed team and a Caribbean team, others that they'll also qualify. According to the poster Socceraction in the TV forum the tournament will be televised on Univision Deportes Network.
This should be fun. I have alot of central American friends. Looking forward to some entertaining football.
this tourney blows. CR making world powers Nicaragua into minced meat... Halftime CR up 1-0 via PK in the 38'
Are there any links to the games online? It's frustrating that no tv channels(to my knowledge) are showing the games
This match isnt coming up on univision dep app, is there a stream i can watch on iphone or ipad? Im not home
our game wasn't aired, unless you lived in Honduras. They're airing the ES vs Guate game tho. No thanks
TODAY'S RESULTS: CRC 3-0 Nic Hon 2-0 Bel SLV 1-2 Gua Is Guatemala back? After losing to Belize and Nicaragua in previous versions, this is a definite improvement.
yea, hopefully huh. L-o-l Guate looked okay, add Cincotta and Moises Hernandez and u gotta pretty neat team.
Why are you being extra dickish towards El Salvador lately? Yeah our national team is pretty awful right now but some of your recent posts are taking it beyond just commenting on their poor performances
It's literally laughworthy some of the claims ESMNT fans made regarding our NT recently. I'm mocking how delusional the thought of some dude like Hernandez is at all better than any of our goalies and so forth.
Yeah some of those posts were over-the-top but it seems like you can discuss that with those people when they make those claim instead of taking a shot at El Salvador every chance you get
ya I was just kind of butthurt. It gets under my skin. I've pulled away from those sort of posts after two days ago cuz some were just harsh. I think ES has a massive chance at surprising Honduras tomorrow.
