So many Bayern fans are being aggressively critical of Toni's transfer. Any other comments on this?

Good for him. Don't see the downside for him.

Christoph Kramer mentions in a interview about Napoli's interest in acquiring him. But he says the time is not now, and expects to play at Mönchengladbach this upcoming season.

Sporting Director Max Eberl also adds: "Leverkusen can not sell the player because he was assigned to us. And we do not want him leave, on the contrary: We are glad that we have him with us for two years. "

Good. Kramer's perfect where he's at. Then he can go to Leverkusen to replace Rolfes and co.

Yeah, that's the plan according to Rudi Völler: "The fact that other clubs are interested after a very good season and this World Cup in Brazil is quite normal. But Christoph Kramer plays another year in Gladbach and then he will return to us. He is an integral part of our planning for the following next season."

The timing is perfect with his further emergence, and the gradual phasing out of Simon Rolfes. Kramer would already be an upgrade over Rolfes right now, younger of course but also offering much more dimensions and skill in his overall game. Öztunali will be another year further in his development and provide even greater depth to their central midfield.

Sebastian Rode is a good overall versatile player who can contribute in many ways. Defensively sound presence centrally but has savvy field awareness to both advance forward and track back wherever needed. Rode is consistent with our new wave of defensive central midfielders like Kramer, Geis, Can, Gerhardt, etc. Who go beyond the traditional skillset of DM and also incorporate skilled technique on the attack. Watching the U19 EM right now, our latest midfield talents also further continue this progression.

He might have been the biggest winner of this World Cup team. He really was at the right place at the right time. Hopefully he can build on that experience and improve.

I hear Marin is going on loan to Fiorentina. Probably won't start, though.

He plays there with Mario Gomez. Currently both are far from being nominated for the German NT, but lets see how their season goes.

Actually Mario Gomez is in top form in preseason (5 goals in first 4 friendlies) , it's incredible after the injury.

He still have a good chance to make it to the NT. Lasogga and Timo Werner keep injured themselves are not helping their chances, and Volland is considered a midfielder nowadays

I have no idea when Lasogga can recover, after picking up a knock in Telekom Cup (they said it wasn't a serious injury) but there is news saying HSV is considering to bring in another new striker consider how injury prone Lasogga is

Timo Werner and Ducksch are also suffered by injuries in preseason

Marko Marin will play as a winger for Fiorentina. He provides depth for them and be a replacement option if Cuadrado is sold.

Mustafi to Valencia is a great move. He replaces Mathieu, and gets a chance to be future leader of their central defense. They've also brought in well balanced reinforcements at each position. Valencia are building towards being among the top teams again in La Liga. Great opportunity for Mustafi to continue his development as they'll also be fighting for European competitions in upcoming seasons.

Hamburg have completed the transfer of Matthias Ostrzolek from Augsburg. Signing the left-back to a new 3 year contract until 2017.

After the amazing performance in U19 Euro, do u guys think Davie Selke will play a fairly significnt role after Petersen and Di Santo this season? I read They wanna bring him slowly, because they think he isnt "ready" for Bundesliga yet.

But i wonder if he will ever be "ready" if they never play him at top level and let him develop from there. Apparently there is certain level of risk involved but i think his ceiling is higher than what Petersen and Di Santo currently at.

That doesnt apply to Selke. A player will never be "ready" if he is never given chance in Bundesliga and utilize their potential. So no excuse and just play him. Lasogga was lucky last season, Hertha preferred Adrian ramos up top and he wasnt having match practice so they loaned him our to HSV, they needed a striker and were in financial crisis so they had no option but to play him.

Selke's chance may be one or two injuries away.
