I couldn't find the old thread but will do my best. Each league will lock the player roster prior to their draft. If a players is transferred into the EPL after the draft has started they are not available until Open Transfers starts. Each league will have a different player roster based on locking the player list before their draft starts. If you draft a player that is transferred out of EPL, then the player is on your team until the open transfers starts. After each league finishes their draft a time is given as the Official Draft End Time. Exactly 24 hours afterwards Open Transfers occurs. To make a transfer: on the forum of the EPL fantasy game for your league you need to post in the thread. Your post will have a date stamp. The date stamp needs to be 24 hours after the official draft end time. Sometimes it occurs that all 8 managers are at the computer trying to make the transfers. The forum will log them in chronologically. First come first serve. As an option, each league may want to post transfers on Big Soccer or their Google Site. Small does Google but the official EPL Fantasy is the date stamp. If your league uses the Google site, you have to update the trade there as well. During the Season: - Transfers are free prior to the season. - Wild Cards can be used as they are available on the official EPL Site. additional transfers cost the -4 points like they do in the official game. If you accidentally make a transfer mistake of a player on someone elses team do the following. Notify your league, Immediately transfer them out, any points that player brought in has to be deducted and a -4 penalty needs to be taken. Usually, the -4 penalty can be made by making the additional transfers that cost -4 on the official site.
If a player tansfers into the EPL and his name appears, is there a 24 hour waiting period before one can nab him, or is it just the first manager to nab him gets him the second his name appears on FPL site?
Usually a draft has a go slow phase at the beginning. Usually, each league sets a goal to be done by. Some leagues take a week and other 3 to 4 days. If a manager disappears during the draft they will have to get replaced.
Each league has to lock the player list prior to the start of the draft. Any player entering the official EPL fantasy player pool after that lock is only available 24 hours after the official end of the draft. After that 24 hour period it is first come first serve for any players added to the official EPL site. If Newcastle adds a striker and they finally show up at 3am EST on the site for 7.0 million pounds they are available for transfer. So sometimes the West Coasters at advantage and other times East Coasters or across the ponds. You can look at past threads and see 2am transfers as a player shows up at the EPL site.
Question: What happens if you have 3 players on a single EPL team drafted onto your team. Then, a transfer moves another player on your team to that EPL team such that you then have 4 players on that EPL team? An example could be the two Southhampton players who are lobbying for a transfer to either Tottenham or Liverpool.
Can't quite remember. But it will be what the official game will do. You may get to keep the player till you transfer one out. Happened last year but can't remember.
It ised to be you have until the end of the next gameweek to sort it out. Not sure this year, but as you say will be in the official FPL rules somewhere
My understanding is that you can stay at 4 or more players on a team following a real life transfer, but only as long as you don't make any transfers. So, you don't have to switch immediately, or even for the rest of the season if that's your desire. But the game will require you to correct it the next time you make a transfer.
unless it has changed this year you can keep him until you make your first transfer of any player, regardless of team, at which time you must come into compliance
Straight from FPL central... this is why Blech & Lobo are paid the big bucks If a player is transferred to another team in the Barclays Premier League, and this transfer takes you over the 3 players per team limit, then you will need to go back under the limit when making your next transfers.
How will the 'Free Hit' chip affect Draft Leagues? Can it be used to get a free strike at a bonus Gameweek? https://www.premierleague.com/news/436425

yes within your division (been trying to figure how to get a Very Small Sterling) I forget I think there is some provision of redress if the majority think it is a sham or ridiculously unfair deal)
As long as both players agree it's fine. Both players need to post it on the forum We have never had a question on this but it has happened from time to time,
Just a reminder that the rule is never ever edit a transfer thread post. Leave a last post and/or a final valid transfer post, explaining dupes or corrections or not valid deals above
