Well, unless he signs a new contract his current one runs out in 2016? Meaning they can sell him for a decent fee in 2015 or he can leave for free a year later. Supposedly the rumor is that we have an agreement with him from last season for him to join us on a free when his contract runs out? I dont know exactly, maybe @Alma Merengue can clarify? What's the latest chatter around the twitters nowadays?
AS Survey [23,000 voters]: Who should be in goal for RM this season? Keylor Navas: 53% Diego Lopez: 29% Iker Casillas: 18% MARCA survey [ongoing]: Should Keylor start for RM this season? Yes: 84,9% [34.089 votes] No: 15,1% [6.045 votes]
I don't like that distribution stat but the aerial duel percentage looks mighty good considering the problems we have there....
might have got something to do with punting the ball forward as far as possible so as to gain time for reorganizing the shape and lines ??
They do play long ball but I actually like watching Levante play bc of how quickly they can move the ball at times and the type of pass. Their long ball is a little more technical then the stereotypical English long ball. The way Algeria moved the ball in the WC in some ways reminds me what Levante does at times. Very entertaining football.
Iker will start the Super Cup. No doubt about that. If Iker starts the La Liga/CL campaign too, something is fundamentally wrong. Navas has not come to Real to play 2nd GK to anyone.
Get ********ed. I'll say what i want. I've respected Iker in my past posts (look them up if you can be arsed). If i beleive someone isnt good enough for Real Madrid anymore, i'll say it. Whether people get butthurt by it or not, it's the truth. He just isnt good enough anymore to hold that No1 GK spot.
That's the rumor. Last night it was being discussed a lot b/c of the Navas signing and pundits were saying that an agreement is in place with Courtois; we just don't know when/how (2015 for $$ 0r 2016 for free). Anyway, this thread is about Keylor Antonio Navas Gamboa: KANG
Hmm Navas Iker and Diego Lopez... this signing approves the fact that one of DL or Iker is going to leave, but the question:which one...
I got tired just watching him train. Levante's GK coach really puts'em through their paces. Anywho, welcome Keylor Navas a.k.a. KANG Hell, he even bares a resemblance to a young Santiago Bernabeu.
I think that is dependent on Iker. If Iker plays well in the Super Cup, it will be hard to bench him unless Navas clearly outshines him in training, which could very well happen. Iker is one more mistake away now after we spent money on Navas.
if he doesn't start, just like i said for bayern when i thought they signed him, his career will go down. he needs first team appareances. thats it. i hope rm can give him that.
Well, he also got paid, and is younger than Iker. I think at worst this is a transition year for the GKs where Navas takes over as 1st team GK. Iker will most likely leave on a free after the year, and Navas will be the 1st team GK heading into the 2015 season. And that is probably the worst it can work out for him.
well now that you remind me of bayern's interest in him , it is great to see that not only are we kicking their ass on the field but off it as well ( plus we got Kroos as well )

My god that training video is stunning. His reflexes are incredible and distribution very accurate. How tall is he though?
