And none of these rumors are from Marca/AS who will surely come up with some good stuff too.

 

The rumor about Ancelotti asking for another midfielder better be an AS rumor.

Luiz Gustavo's name keeps popping up. I know he left Bayern because Pep had no use for him and went to Wolfsburg so he could have regular playing time so he could keep his spot for the WC (ironic considering Scolari brought so many benchwarmers). He is definitely looking for a new club now.

AS and L'Equipe making up transfer rumors? I am utterly shocked at such an accusation.

 

What's the point in getting Gustavo (if the rumors are true) while we already got the likes of Illarramendi Xabi and Kroos? Not only is he a pretty average player, he also would block Illarramendi's development.

In the attacking department we got the likes of James, CR7, Bale, Jese, Isco, Di Maria and Benzema. That's 7 players for 3/4 positions (depending on what kind of formation Carlo Ancelotti wants to play) and we all know that Cristiano and Bale are locks, so that means we got 5 players for 1/2 positions. One might argue the fact that we don't have a backup striker now that we sold Morata but judging from what I've seen from Jese last season I firmly believ he is capable of playing as a striker.
