I can't really think of many proven outstanding player in our league that's not in the strongest or oriente

Here is a short list from the top of my head of some players that are decent: keep in mind I don't watch much of our league other than Bolivar's games, also these are players with some international experience, we don't need to be experimenting at this point.

    GK: (if Arguello leaves)
    Suarez- Wilster
    Galarza - Sport Boys

    DEF:
    Garcia - Wilster
    Tordoya - Wilster

    MID:
Azogue - Oriente (he wasn't part of Libertadores team due to injury)
Chavez - Blooming (but I think he's going back to Atlas)
    Saucedo - Universitario

    FWD:
    Pinedo - Universitaro
    Ramallo - Wilsterman

PS: I think if Arguello and Moya leave, we need a quality international CB since there is no much of that in our league, and probably a forward

Azkargorta never liked Pedriel, even when he was scoring and doing well for Sivaspor he never got called up. Pedriel was interviewed saying how much he wanted to be called up, but never did. I feel bad for him because I think he is a strong forward. Oh well, with no playing time now I doubt he'll go somewhere else other than our league

Looks like Bolivar lost Nelson Cabrera who has decided to leave for bigger $ and it also sounds like Capdevilla is as good as gone. Ferreira and Arce have bigger $ offers abroad and are asking for big increases to stay as well.

Losing Cabrera and Capdevilla will be huge as I think Cabrera has been very consistent in the defense and Capdevilla has been very important for that give and go counter attack style they had going. I think Arce and Ferreira will end up staying though.

Capdevila's contribution on defense is HUGE and is going to be tough. The hope I think is AJhasmani will be able to cover the same ground.

I don't think so, but he will bring better offense. Cabrera is off to europe I believe, which we will need to bring in a GOOD replacement for him. He was a rock for us at CB.

There was a rumor floating around we were looking at Landon Donovan, which I tthink is probably a no go. If I could pick someone to replace capdevila though, Donovan would cover more ground and is a LOT faster.

Where is Cabrera going? I can't find any info... that's to bad tho :/

I keep reading in the news we're after Oriente's players!!! I agree on Peña he'll be good for the local league and for the future if he stays for a couple of seasons. But anyone else would be ridiculous!! They can't fcking play in Libertadores!!! I hope the rumors are not true. (Azogue is the only Oriente Player that could play Libertadores)

Any links on these rumors about Cabrera and the rest of the guys?
It would suck if the team gets disbanded before seeing what they can do against SL.
For the record I don't think Campos can do half the job Capdevilla did.

Unless they get amazing offers i think they'll stay at least until Copa Libertadores is over. Otherwise it'd be like a Lawyer getting an interview for a kickass firm and giving it up.

I think if Cardozo gets back to what he was before his injury, he can easily do a better job than capdevilla...

I dunno about better....but he brings different skills to the table. He is younger, probably just as fast (before injury), and can skin defenders better. But his negatives are his inability to work better with others, often times trying to take on the whole team on his own like he was Cristiano Ronaldo.

I just hope we can keep the guys we have, or at the very least replace them with similar skilled lpayers whereever they are from.

Big game has arrived, no official wor on the line up to my knowledge. My money is on Rodas over Tenorio. They like to press high a run hard all game, specially away. IMO Tenorio is looking like a target striker, and could loose a couple of pounds. Rodas looks fast on some of the videos. Who ever it is let's hope they put some balls in the back of the net.

What a smack down!!! After watching Quinones push the snooze button yet again on the first goal, and our defense do the same on the second goal I had to change the Chanel. The team is not playing the same, this break fvcked us. Never had a chance, Quiñones better forget about that big boy contract.

But seriously, congrats to you guys for getting this far.

The WC break, losing a few key players really hurt. Unfortunately it was total humiliation but hopefully you guys at least win in La Paz and show some heart.

Didn't someone herer mention Quinonez showing up overweight to practice? It showed last night.

He was the heart of the defense. A good keeper brings confidence in the back and last night he did the exact opposite--suck it dry because of his bad play.

Also, our two replacements up top just don't play the role the same way that Willy did who knew when to drop deeper to receive the ball and in turn make passes for our wings, instead both waited up top for service on an island. This is why our offense sucked.

We did a bad job trying to find Willy's replacement, but selling him was probbly the biggest reason we lost so bad. I wonder how he feels right now....

he's probably happy... this demonstrates he was very valuable in getting this far AND now has a way bigger contract...

The worst part is that Bolivar probably got no money from the transfer, if I'm not mistaken Ferreira was free to go.

he wasn't free agent, Bolivar owned 30-40% of his pass, but since they didn't have 50% they had no say on where he would go or to force him to stay in La Paz

Some soccer investment group in Uruguay, don't know the name. But i remember b/c I read in the papers a while back he was having trouble with the international transfer b/c Bolivar wouldn't send it until they would get their percentage of the deal. They didn't disclose the amount, but I assume that was resolved since Ferreira is already playing in Liga MX.

OH damn. He's one of those players who's pass is owned by a third party company. Sad thing is, players like that have more trouble making it abroad because of this and the hassle it is dealing with third party ownership groups. I wonder if this is one of the reasons he never landed in europe?
