    It's every boy's dream to represent any one of several nations to which he might be connected throughout his family's history.

    Which is the easier NT to get into? Greece or Australia?

    Australia and it's not very close. Australia had players at the World Cup who would probably wouldn't make an MLS roster.

    Exactly. Dude will easily have that wrapped up and good fortune to the Aussies. Hopefully he can help them regain their 2006 form.

    Additionally, Oz qualifies pretty much every time, so there goes another card the USMNT has to play if it ever came to a choice between the two. Then with this kid he'd have to burn his one way switch even to play for the youth 'roos in an official match.

    I don't think he has played for Greece in a youth competition, only a friendly. I checked UEFA.com and he doesn't come up as having played in any of their competitions.

    That's helpful. Seems like a longshot, but well worth reaching out to.

    Don't rule out Greece though.

    Many greeks I know are more 'hardcore' about their country than many of the greeks living in greece lol. Wouldn't be surprised if Greece is #1 for him.

    Not according to this:

    OWTY :: Has US Soccer ever contact you?

    Panos Armenakas [PA] :: Yes, but they never followed up with anything.

    OWTY :: Would you consider [the USA] if Jurgen Klinsmann called?

    PA :: Of Course.

    OWTY :: If the USA pursued you moving forward you would consider making the switch?

    PA :: If they pursued me I would definitely consider it.

    If he keeps his Greek citizenship, this may be his "Greek training gear":

    Panos will be at the Nike Friendlies but with Australia. Hopefully his presence there will open the eyes of Ritchie.. He said he would consider a switch if we showed interest.
