    Not the place for it. But, I will say your side gave up all rights to complain when no one would take first spot kick. Laughable,actually.

    If this isn't the place for it; don't post. van Gaal never said that nobody would take the first spot kick but rather TWO players didn't want to take spot kicks which to me means that they would not be in the first five. Everyone theoretically has to take spot kicks until a winner is decided. Just as a point of fact, in 2007 Dutch U-21 defeated England AET 13-12 on penalties!!!

    It's clear that the rebound is touched by the kicker and that causes the ball to rebound back towards goal. So that ends any speculation of when the kick ended. Secondly, if we play the what if scenario of the ball never touching the kicker, the ball clearly stops right on the goal line. Kick is dead.

    GLT must be active during penalties so I wonder what would have happened if Cakir would have been buzzed. Like did he see the ball touches Vlaar.

    We missed on a great controversy for many years to come
