I think Argentina will be the top of group and all other 3 teams have the equal chance. But I prefer Team Melli advances after Argentina.
I think any team can reach the 4 points will advance.
    Viva Argentina.......

The key this group is the opening match Iran vs Nigeria. The winner of that game has an inside track of finishing second behind Argentina. Bosnia will be behind the 8 ball especially if Nigeria wins. If Iran wins I can see Bosnia and then Argentina dismantling Iran.

    Argentina 9 points
    Bosnia 4 points
    Nigeria 2 points
    Iran 1 point

So close to home. So many supporters. So many proven players. The host countries arch rival. They must advance.

Aside from 2002 they haven't gone home in the group stage in the last 50 yrs

trading 2 messi games for 1 btw. see my post in the trading tickets thread

I hope Argentina and Nigeria will come out from the group. But I feel no wonder if Bosnia come out instead of Nigeria because both teams have equal strength.

Wanting a good Asian representation but it's hard not to see Argentina and probably Bosnia go through.
Opening matches the key. Winner of Arg V Bos will definately go through. Loser of Iran V Nigeria will go out.

Bosnia will lose to Iran. As usual. They have no chance to make it out of this group.

    nah, you underestimated their defense.
Sabella also did them a favor today, playing 2 different formations of Argentine offense against them, one of which they had practiced against once already, in our last friendly.
The hope is they would give Nigeria run for their money, and there's a chance we could rest players in match 3 :)

Well, chances Nigeria will beat Iran tomorrow, but you never know:sneaky:

Still could be any of the three for second place in the group. My guess is that it will be the winner of the Bosnia-Nigeria match. If that ends in a draw, then it will be Bosnia in the driver's seat, because Iran will have to come out and play against Bosnia to have any hope of the next round, and Bosnia should be able to take advantage of that.

today, nigeria showed why they did not deserve to advance. one would have to be delusional to think that either Iran or bosnia would get dominated and lose by 2 goals against this horrible french side. Iran would have taken france to penalties, and bosnia might have even beaten them in regulation time.

It is all I can do to refrain from insulting you with the full weight of viciousness this stupid post of yours deserves.

France was gifted the game yesterday.

A clear PK against France not called with Evra wrestling Odemwingie in the box.

Matuidi injures our best player Onazi with a horrendous tackle and inexplicably is not shown a straight red.

A good Nigerian goal disallowed. Giroud elbows Mikel in the face and the ref waves it off. Nigeria should have been at least 2-0 up at HT with a competent ref, and France should have finished the game with 9 men. You are truly, infuriatingly delusional. I regret I cannot curse you out the way you deserve to be cursed out.

only someone watching the game with nigerian glasses on would not admit that france clearly dominated and deserve to win. you are only bringing non-issue excuses. i understand that you are mad because your team is out. maybe chillax for a few days. scratch that, weeks. and then you will see how ridiculously and hilariously biased you looked at it. people like you are the ones saying you got robbed of a goal against Iran lol. laughable at best. specially when the exact same thing happened to enyeama as Irans keeper yet you are all quiet about it now. your bias is undeniable. for the evra "foul" it happens in almost every game lol. i cannot recall the last time in my life that i saw a ref give a penalty for such a "foul." in my personal opinion they should simply not allow that kind of pushing and shoving in the box, but as of now, it is routine behaviour and hardly ever goes punished. so i dont know why you are complaining. btw that tackle will NOT be given a straight red by all refs. it could be, but not always. it is reasonable that it was a yellow. there was no ill intent. it is too bad that onazi fractured his leg due to it but this is the risk of playing a sport at this level.

as for your repeated requests to insult me:

Actually I don't need to insult you. Your asinine posts do a very good job. This thread should be restricted to people from countries that actually know how to play football. Come back when your shit team qualifies for the round of 16. This is how France "dominated" Nigeria.

That foul deserves to have a special card invented for it. Maybe a black card, where the offender is banned for 500 matches. :D I mean WTF did Matuidi have to do to get a red card? Behead Onazi on the pitch?

all i see is you displaying poor class, lack of sportsmanship, and not accepting defeat. Iran was better than nigeria in world cup 2014. we would not have been dominated like that against france. bosnia was also better than nigeria. you only went up due to the refs help. now you are bashing the ref for not calling 50/50 calls in your favour. stay classy bro lol. this discussion is over.
