So I haven't updated this thread in a while but here's the latest update I know. We still are not sure on the timeline for the return of Moscato and Frisbie. I while ago Harvey had said in an interview that they would be back in a couple of weeks but that have come and gone and still no definitive answer when they will be back. If you think the lack of info on those two are maddening, Rapinoe's situation is even wierded. Last week she was definitely off the crutches (maybe not training as I was led to think based on the video in the background which was from the start of the season). However, in this latest video from friday (which is definitely from that date as a couple of action sequences was tweeted), you can see Rapinoe back on the crutctes (starting at the 0:30 mark) .
INJURY REPORT: JUNE 6, 2014 Seattle Reign FC OUT: Amanda Frisbie (osteitis publis), Carmelina Moscato (right foot stress reaction), Megan Rapinoe (left foot contusion) DOUBTFUL: None QUESTIONABLE: None PROBABLE: None
I know Rapinoe's issue, but can someone shed more light on the other two that have been out this year. I see the injury description, but how/when did it happen, any updates/news, etc.....
Frisbie was injured in camp...adductors take forever to heal and now it looks like she has some inflammation. Moscato I believe was injured during Canadian residency and u know from Morgan how careful they r being with stress reactions. Ive never seen an exact cause put on Rapinoes foot but my assumption is that it was injured during her altercation with Jasmine Avant in Seattle's first game of the season tho it's possible she was already carrying the injury at that point.
Finally some good news re. injuries. Rapinoe was upgraded to questionable and Moscato was upgraded to probable. Poor Frisbie is the only one who is still out and it looks like it's not a strain anymore
The injury report http://www.nwslsoccer.com/News/819946.html had her as "Out" with a (left foot injury). When did she get hurt again?
Did I happen to mention that Rapinoe did not play against Boston because she strained her hamstring celebrating the tying goal against WNY on wednesday while on the bench? Yup, that is a true story
According to the twitter account of Amanda Frisbie, she has started some light training. Don't know how long this will last but if we can get her back for the stretch of games between July 27 - August 17 to close out the season, that would be great. 90 min of work today and some little touches on the ball!! #progress #babysteps 😄— Amanda Frisbie (@Frizzbie) July 11, 2014
