One of the few times I don't mind having four hours off during a tournament. At least I'll catch this match.

I've noticed in a couple other matches that the AR's follow the traditions of their home country -- the English guys keep their flags loose, whereas pretty much everyone else walks out with rolled flags.

More like Webb sticking with the "let them settle down" policy before breaking out the cards.

Too early for a yellow card for Webb there.

Webb fan-boy drinking game rules. One shot for each use of the following:

    "masterclass"

    "whilst"

    "association football"

    "man-management"

    Great tackle. Dive by Hulk?
I've seen multiple dives at this World Cup, but can't remember a single yellow so far. FIFA instructions?

Chile player goes down in the box. No TV replay.

Brazil player goes down in the box. Immediate replay from every possible angle and in slow motion. :ROFLMAO:

Webb is doing okay thus far but he needs to take control before the tackling gets out of hand. He is being too lenient at present and both teams know it.

EDIT: As I type that the first yellow card appears.

Pretty much the same penalty shout on both ends. Looks like two good no-calls.

Free kick won by Brazil at 13:19, BRA player immediately holds up two fingers asking for PI. I guess he didn't get the memo.

    Textbook handling yellow on Mena.

Good no call on both penalties claimed.

Since it's extremely difficult to get a caution in this WC, I wonder if Mena would have been brazen enough to stick his hand out in front of the assistant referee to swipe at the ball in any other competition.

I thought he tripped Hulk leg, if Hulk went down without the foul that was a terrible call (from Hulk) because he had the ball under control. But I could my Brazilian eyes in this one

I thought the defender got the ball from between Hulk's legs, after which Hulk decided to flop.

Wow.... Neymar is paperweight... A challenge from Vidal like dozens others but he flies off of it like hit by a charging rhino.

On the goal . . . anyone else think it might have been offside?

Hasn't it been credited as an own goal anyway?

Definitely no offside. Luiz was well on.

He was on. GK kept him on by at least a yard.

Darke and McManaman's foul recognition might be worse than Nishimura's penalty recognition.

Anyway this game is ripe for a mass confrontation or several.
