Hopefully this is a waking call for them, and Sabella takes control and stops with the "Fantastic Four" nonsense.

Argentina needs drastic changes, but a 0-0 would have been such a disappointment.

Hmmm. I thought Iran took some chances on the counter. Nothing to be ashamed of.

If Bosnia and Nigeria draw later, Iran might only need a tie to get through in their next game

The penalty non-call is the frustrating part to me. If it were the other way around he's pointing to the spot, I just hate that.

Iran deserved a draw in my opinion. Oh well. Got to feel for them.

2 games in a row versus very weak opponents? Try that against Germany and you will lose 5-0.

I don't like it when teams put 11 men behind the ball and play for 0-0.

Yup unfortunately we should be used to this by now. That was a penalty for Argentina, Brazil and Spain. Not a PK for many other teams.

It would have been nice to see Argentina stumble, but alas.......

Now onto more important matches.... Germany vs Ghana

Also known as tactics. Bunker and counter is a legit tactic.

Teams should just try to lose instead?

Greece and Chelsea see your statement and point to their hardware.

Germany and France class of the tournament so far. Netherlands, Colombia, and Brazil good too. Don't see any other teams winning it all at this point.

It's legitimate, but I can and will cheer when it fails. Also, I was unaware pushing a player or two forward is an automatic loss.

Iran is a very good defensive team. Only allowed 2 goals in 8 qualifying. Teams at international and club level try to play like than often fail and still end up getting destroyed. Very impressed by them. I dont think Nigeria and Argentina played as bad as people think they did. Iran is just a tough team to break down.

But they had a slew of chances and in fact had more clear chances than Argentina had in the second half. You want them to just bum rush and press high and get smashed 5-0?

Trying to play open with 3 players just walking around not playing defense. It is just not good soccer. Now Argentina needs to do some serious self analysis because their tactics are horrid at the moment. So many superstars playing such poor soccer.

I give them a chance to finish with 4 points though. I like Bosnia, but Iran might be the best defensive team at the cup.
