I disagree that people wont read it. The link was on twitter pretty often this afternoon. Good read. Only bad thing was Campos getting lost for the season.
The whole season? So who have they brought in for a replacement? BTW I read the article, so obviously someone else read it!
From what I read he is officially out for the Spring, but he tore both ACL/MCL and usually that will knock him out for both. Could he come back end of fall, maybe, but personally don't think it is likely. The star tribune article did mention Min U will have to bring in someone as they only have 2 forwards. But who knows as I don't follow them closely. As a Scorpions fan have a soft spot for Campos, since he was my favorite player year one.
Wow. HUGE loss. The worst part is that they now have to find a replacement and a partner for him, and they'll probably also have to drastically change their style of play.
I'm huge on recent signing Christian Ramirez from Charlotte, but he can't do it by himself all season.
Hi there, a little something for Minnesota Fans! http://cosmossoccerfan.com/2014/03/24/take-a-look-at-minnesota-united/
Rumor has it United will be playing a league game after the International game in August at TCF Bank.
Ooooooooooooo! Now THERE is a great idea. TCF is still MASSIVE, but it might feel more intimate than the dome did.
United Partners with Atomic Data! - from 4/11 Minnesota United announced its first jersey sponsor...back of the shirt sponsor.
According to twitter, Mackenzie Pridham of Cal Poly signed today. https://twitter.com/macpridham/status/460910898429706243 He is a stud at holding ball up top and passing off to teammates and was Big West Conference Player of Year the past two years. He was predicted to go in second round in draft but a late ankle injury hurt his showing in the combine, I believe. Of all the guys that have come thru Cal Poly, he is one of the best at going to next level that I have seen. A bit on him: http://www.mlssoccer.com/players/mackenzie-pridham http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/the9...prospect-caly-poly-forward-mackenzie-pridham/ There is more on him if you want me to provide more links.
It's nice to see United have a bigger budget than other NASL clubs. I am looking forward to seeing his development.
