Vela has the highest football IQ of all our NT grade players. Him and Gio would have absolutely wrecked teams as cutting in wingers.

All this talk about what we need to get more talent but we forget that nation's don't have the luxury of having armies of great international capable players. Mexico has fewer and even worse one of them doesn't even want to play.

my youngest brother is 5'8 (15 years old) and my sister is 5'7 ..On my dads side me & my bro's are the tallest but not by much ...On my Moms side were the shortest with most if not all of my male cousins being 6'o feet +..

Despues de ver esto partido, tengo una opinion sobre la Seleccion de vosotros. Me sorprendio por la positiva. Mucho bien en la parte ofensiva y la parte física tambien. La debilidade que note, fue la transicion defensiva y la poca presion defensiva que hacen...dejan que lleguen fácil a la Meta de vosotros... hay que haber mas presion sobre lo adversário que ten el balon... necesitan alguien mas fuerte delante de los defensas Centrales. No por ser del Porto, pero Herrera me parece vuestro mejor jugador junto a Guardado y lo Extremo Ezquierdo no recuerdo su nombre (Fabian talvez). Portugal jugo com poca intensidade, sin 3 titulares indiscutibles y com algunos titulares fuera de su posicion, experimentando, por ejemplo Coentrão jugo en el medio ... y fuera quedaron Ronaldo, Pepe y Raul Meireles.
Creo que México puede, si estuver a su mejor, passar la Fase de Grupos ... solo necessita mas presion sobre el balon cuando ella estea en pose del oponente..mas rigor tactico en la parte defensiva..la parte tactica, porque vuestros jugadores tecnicamente ya estan en muy buen nível.

Finally was able to watch this game and the guardado and layun left side could be deadly. I said this a while back and I'll say it again. Guardado had a bad 2013 but this should be his best World Cup. 27 is prime for any athlete. If he catches fire we could be really good.
