The physicality of the EPL would be too rough for him....but you never know.

    Interesting...

Probably would bring him in then loan him out. But for that price, Bayern could do same if they believe his potential merits it.

Do they need help with their reserve team this year?

I'm glad to hear this, hope it happens and hope he gets to play. However, his placement on the 23 is the one I have the biggest problem with and his appearance against Turkey did nothing to change that opinion.

Well, with any luck he'll probably play there as much as Dempsey did...

Maybe he should consult with Dempsey first.

Could just be Spurs following their usual strategy of sell 10 players buy 10 players.

Dempsey started 22 games for Spurs and scored 7 goals (these are just his league stats). He was a part of a very good team that was competing for that 4th spot up until the last match day.

If Green is that good right now he needs to start showing it.

Honestly, the EPL doesn't seem like a good fit....the guy is tiny-ish and seems to fall over a lot on his own already.

Green is probably not ready for a move like this. This could be a Giovanni Dos Santos type situation.

Yeah, it was a bad joke.

I agree, though, doesn't strike me as a good fit.

If Bayern really is high on him and see him as a potential Ribery/Robben successor, then there's no way this move happens. It would make much more sense for them to loan him out for a year or two and then see where he's at. If they do sell for this low a price, I think it would mean that they never rated him that highly to begin with.

With Pochettino it may be an OK move but it really depends if they clean house with that squad. It needs a reboot if they are serious to contend for top 4.

They'd loan him out to somewhere in Holland or Belgium for a year or two. Eredivisie (or something similar) Beats playing in a 4th division Regionalliga

    follow the money...

This is part of the Jurgen conspiracy to fool us into thinking cutting LD was a great idea.

If he stays at Bayern they would probably send him out on loan.

That would be amazing, actually. If Green did go there (and I think this is total horsecrap btw) and played as much as Demps did right off the jump he would justify Jurgen's faith in him...

Or were you trying to suggest Demps didn't play much and missed the jibe?
