I didn't transfer though, I resold. Different policy applies. They allow you to resell your individual tix from the TST. But as I said, the account still shows:
    • The maximum number of matches you can request tickets for is 7 match(es)
    • You have requested/confirmed: 7 match(es)

You should be able to sell just the one. In the resale interface it will list your tix and you select which you want to get rid of.

Mate don't sell game 1 back to Fifa. Sell it to someone on here. You'll get inundated with messages.

It's eng-crc :) and I have made couple of post about it already. I would just like to get it done. I actually even had it sold to someone in here already, but he changed his plans.

Oh just understood, that you might of thought it was game 1, heh, sorry.

Put my Opening Match ticket for resale this morning, hopefully it re-sells by the deadline (3 days before match). Not worried about people not buying it, but moreso that FIFA holds the ticket back long enough that I can't re-sell at all.

I don't know how consistent their process is, but I put my Italy-Uruguay up for resale last week and within an hour their status changed to "Refund pending" and I could no longer pull them back. I didn't receive any email notification of this and haven't yet received the refund.

A question for anyone that mailed physical tickets back to FIFA in Manchester: what service did you use? Are UPS, FedEX, DHL, etc acceptable? FIFA says to mail by 'courier', but I'm unsure what that means.

I have a couple of unwanted tickets that I can no longer attend and want to sell back to FIFA. At what point is it too late to send the tickets back? First match is in 9 days...

Someone that will get you a signature at the end and you can track. It took me 24 hrs to get it there in the UK and another 24 to get them up for resale once they had acknowledged their arrival. As to whether its worth sending them back depends on circumstances ie date of the game , the match and the tickets.

If they are physical tickets I believe the deadline is 7 days before the match. If they are electronic (not collected yet) then I believe the deadline is 3 days before the match. I'm getting this from info someone else posted in a thread....

Going back to my initial post..I put up my opening match ticket for sale yesterday morning and it still shows as "TICKET TO RESELL" and gives me the option to Recover. Now, there's no doubt that this ticket would be snatched up in seconds once it goes on the portal. But why is it taking so long for FIFA to put it back? I'm getting a little worried as match day is less than a week away.

My bet is that there are a fair number of tickets being returned, even for the -1 games that are ostensibly sold out. At previous tournaments it has not been unheard of for a few hundred, or even more, tickets to be made available on the morning of the match. Let's hope that this is the case and that there is a windfall for fans in the city on the day. One things for sure touts, unless they are in town as well, will not be interested in them.

Based on experiences at past World Cups, I agree with @jamfactoryken that tickets will be returned until the last moment. (A friend of mine who works for one of the sponsors was just offered tickets that the sponsor was going to return.)

That said, I find it a little weird that *none* of the tickets I have had up for resale on the FIFA site (due to people in our group cancelling their travel) have been sold:
    • The FIFA site has listed Germany-Ghana as sold out. However, I have three CAT3 tickets for resale with them.
    • They list CAT3 as sold out for Uruguay, however, I have three CAT3s listed with them for resale.
    • Ghana-USA is also listed as sold out, all CATs; I have 3 CAT1s.
I am expecting that my Greece - Ivory Coast tickets may go unsold on the FIFA portal and I'll have to sell them on the ground.

It may be that people e.g. running scanners are still seeing that lots of tickets are available for these games and CATs. I am just going by what I see at http://fwctickets.fifa.com/avademchart.aspx.

(If anyone here will be in FTL or Natal and still needs tix to any of these games, let me know.)

*Desperate Need of Your Guys' Advice/Help*

I have two category 1 Match 9 tickets (first game in Brasilia, Ecuador vs. Switzerland) and I'm not attending (infact I'll still be in here NY on that date) so I'm trying to resell to Fifa since their "soldout for availability online". Problem is, Fedex told me the fastest they will get it to that address in the UK is Monday the 9th - which is 6 days before the game and not 7 as specified.

Do you think that If i send it to UK anyway they'll still let me resell even if it arrives 6 days before the match? OR is this an alternative: can my cousin in Brasilia physically hand in my tickets for resell (since policy for that is 3 days before the match) or does it have to be me who hands it in (since I'm the main Applicant).

FIFA is literally providing no phone numbers for either centers in the UK or in Brasilia for me to ask representatives and find out what to do, and I really don't want to get screwed out of 350$. HELP?! :((

So basically FIFA is charging you twice to re-sell your tickets.

When you purchase the tickets, you pay face value + fee.
When re-selling back, you only get 90% of face value.

E.g. I got charged $370 on opening match ticket, a 12% raise over face value ($330).
To re-sell, I can only get $297 back, or 90% of face value.

    I spend $370, I get back $297.
In total, I lose $73, which is 22% of ticket's face value.

Anyone know if we can hand our tickets back to FIFA in person at a ticketing center in Brazil to try and have them resell them?

    Hey everyone, update:

My opening ticket is finally showing up as REFUND PENDING. It took a few days for me to receive the confirmation from FIFA that the ticket was allocated to me. Even though on the FIFA Portal it said that I successfully bought the ticket right after I got it, it still took a few days for FIFA to actually charge the credit card (and then receive the confirmation email afterwards). I received the confirmation email yesterday and it changed to REFUND PENDING today.

Has anyone been showing "refund pending" for over a month?! I noticed that some people already got their refund processed.

Also, the section that says refund will be processed up to 30 days after the last tickets listed for resale have been sold, you guy interpret that to mean the last tickets I put up for sale for all games OR the last tickets anyone put up for sale for that specific game?!

Because if it's the latter, no one should have got refunds until after the game, so the former would make sense I guess, also since I had some other unsold tickets for resale until a few days ago.

Is there anyone who put up tickets for sale for more than one game and got a refund without all tickets being resold?!
