There was another thread about Adam. He had a blog on TDS about his time in Germany.

Wouldn't Ireland have some type of work permit issue? I know Northern Ireland would but what about the Republic?

According to Transfermarkt, Matkin moved from United Sikkim to Chaiyaphum United in January 2014 and then to Pyunik in Armenia in August (where he had 4 league appearances and an appearance in the Armenian Independence Cup). He's now listed as without a club.
