I think his best role is 60th + super sub.

Given free role vs tired defenses

I think Schurrle could start some of the games sure , but probably will be subbed in or out. Think he can be used well as a impact sub. Happy to have him on the team with his current form.

Why should he be? Just look at his stats this season - and that of the other ones. Yes, he had a hand full of matches in which he showed something - but had a lot in which he did not score at all. One goal in 10 matches in the CL. Just to compare - his best season has been worse than anybody of the others best.

And until now Löw has a special match idea - the speed dribbler from the left - and Müller as wing-forward mixture on the right. They offer something different.

Müller was asked at the media days yesterday where he thinks he plays - and he told that he played about 98% of the time on the right in the national team and he does not think that this will change. So you probably can read out of this that Löw does not want to change his match idea.

Reus beats everything that can play on the left wing - and that Müller is especially good in cup matches he has shown now in all of the five years - no matter if World Cup, German Cup or CL. I have not seen that from the others.

I think the same about Özil like some before. He has his failures - but none of the others have his strengths.

Neuer has been very poor form and if he doesn't recover it won't be a lose, he concedes set pieces like penalties in between

I feel like the accent on the shirt is so bold white shorts are better for it. They obviously designed it for that reason but that's also why black shorts with these jerseys don't necessarily look better.
