    Two things I don't get.

One. Why wasn't Raul Castro included? And Veizaga was? Veizaga hasn't gotten any minutes this entire season, not even in the league. Castro meanwhile has been playing at a stellar level, and he's twice the player veizaga is and younger.

Two. Why does bigoton keep calling up Zenteno from willstermann?? It has been horribly obvious when he has played that he is way too slow, way too heavy footed, and a worse tackler. Plus, Willstermann hasn't done shit on over 10 years why they get a player in the national team is beyond me.

No one from Universitario? Pinedo has been playing well, he's still young. Don't agree with a lot of call ups here.

That was ridiculous. He shoud've called Castro and Soliz, the same with Pinedo and other younger players, but he calls, Veizaga, Cardozo, and Azcarraita who are all subs. Castro is by far better than Miranda also.

I agree on calling younger guys, but Pinedo and Soliz wouldn't fit... we only have 20 players for these two games, and usually only go with one striker on away games, so no need to call 5 strikers. and I wouldn't put either of them in front of M3 and Conejo. Maybe Pinedo instead of Peña.

You guys are being ridiculous with regards to Raldes. He's still one of our top defenders if not THE top CB we have.

You're acting like he's some old washed up 40yr old playing out his last days in MLS.

You'd prefer to trot out some young kid in front of Spain and completely crush his confidence when he gets schooled every which way to Sunday. I can't name any youngster CB better than Raldes right now, not one.

Maybe because azkargorta wants experienced players but I doubt Zenteno will play.
If you guys says this castro guy is as good in the middle then that sort of sucks too

Gotta agree ..why call up these other attackers when the ones we have are good. Arce is very good and definite starter.
Eguino and gutierrez and raldes are the defense.that is very good quality as well

He has already switched years ago. He at that time was a forward for us.

He's since been switched to a wing back. Good idea too.

True.. He's been doing well since that switch in possition. He's sort of a hybred RB/ RMF. Not sure why he wasn't called up for our friendlyes vs Greece and Spain, he could have contributed a great deal.

Now I know why Yecerotte wasn't called up. Turns out he's getting surgery on his knee, both him and Flores. They say both should be ready for Libertadores. I guess now is as good a time as any if they are gonna be out for a few weeks. Anyone know what the status of Edemir Rodriguez is? He's solid, better than Eguino, he would be good for the national team with Raldes. I have to admit Eguino did better than I thought , hope he keeps it up in the national team and Libertadores.

He had an ACL tear, which should take at least 7 and can take up to 9 if not more depending on how he rehabs and how bad it was.

Meniscus is cake. They'll be back and full fitness by the semi' first game.

Are you sure it's an ACL tear? In the article they mention he'll be operated in Santa Cruz and that it's not very involved and he should be ready for Libertadores. If it's an ACL tear who knows if he'll ever be the same. Look at Rudy Cardozo.

I hope it's not that bad, this has been a breakout year for him, before as a fwd he was so so, now as a RB/ RMF he has shined.

I think you have them mixed up. I was talking about Edemir, not Yecerotte. Yecerotte has a menscus tear, which will take 2-4 weeks to heal up and then he can start training right away.

Holy cow your right I was talking about Yecerotte, well good to know he's got "only " a meniscus tear. About Edemir I knew it was bad, but I didn't think it was that bad. Sucks that so many of Bolivar's players have gone down with knee problems, Cardozo, Edemir,Yecerotte, Flores.

FLores also has a Meniscus tear.

Cardozo--you are right has yet to reach his prior form. He looked good though wtih his sub minutes vs. Lanus.

With the NT friendlies and the 1 month pretemporada Bolivar will have prior to the semis game, I hope Cardozo can get back in form.

Gotta feel for Edemir! The flamengo player looks to throw himself onto him out of frustation. and that guy was pretty big. Edemir was surely going to be a starter for Bolivar and the NT. I hope it is not as bad as it seems and he'll be back doing physical therapy as soon as possible.
