News flash: Soccer is an adult sport. :D I play in an over-50 rec league. I know some players still active in thier 70's.

I improved quite a bit from age 42 to age 43. But now I'm starting to decline. (I'm 44.)

No matter how many times you say it, soccer clearly is not an adult sport. It's a sport for all ages. The fact that kids at the U12 level and below -- in most places in our country -- play the game on a smaller field with fewer players does not mean that they are not playing soccer.

P.S. I'd bet money that you play in my dad's league in NOVA. ;)

There's an over-50 league in NOVA? I'm looking ahead.

Fairfax Over 50 Soccer League. They have a Facebook page. I think they're up to 5-6 teams now. Hit me with a PM when you turn 50 and I'll send you to my dad!

Encourage dribbling - praise when losing the ball and making the mistakes - easy to praise dribbling when successful- reinforce attitude when the player is worried after making a mistake- make sure they are encouraged even when making mistakes
