Not bad, i thought there had to be something to the rumors. Now we should try to purchase Araujo and a cm.
Reasonably? im not sure. Cabrera might be worth a shot...we can give them back Lalo as part of the deal. Probably need a keeper...wouldnt be against going for richard sanchez. Im not sure what hes been up to since he got linked with Tigres.
Morelia might be willing to do business. Chivas are all over the place with their transfers...maybe we could get them to loan us or sell us Chaton, that would be great.
Cabrera from Pumas? Yes, him and Chaton would be amazing. I'd declare us early Apertura 2014 champs if that were to happen.
Marc Crosas joins Leones Negros on loan. He should get badly needed PT there; I hope he performs well. Guadalajara is a cool city. Have fun Marc!
@Catracho_Azul What can you tell us about the young Honduran, Junior Lacayo? He seems like a good kid with a great attitude. Carlos Darwin has taken him under his wing. Management feels that he could be the next to follow a tradition of great Santos forwards. I hope it's true. Realistically, he could make his debut within the next couple of seasons. Oribe Peralta's departure should only accelerate his debut. Our coach has a lot f faith in young players, so we might even see him sooner than we think - not unlike Ceballos (18 years old) last season. http://www.laprensa.hn/inicio/70973...-hacer-dupla-con-darwin-quintero-en-el-santos
If I had to sum it up the best possible way... it would have to be that he's a much better version of Tyson Nunez. He can easily turn out to be a more lethal finisher than Darwin Quintero. Everythings there, he just possesses that natural ability to make things happen man. He's silky smooth on the ball, plays fearless, and has that world class speed to boot lol. His final season before he left for Santos, he bagged I believe 8 goals, 5 in La Liguilla for a C.D. Victoria side thats anything less than good. Dude was clinical at a very young age and was forced to learn to put the team on his back cuz thats what he did in some games during their Clausura run. Liga Nacional Hondurena might not be the best barometer to determine someone's skill, but at 16/17 he was playin as if he's been in the league for quite some time. Its rough, but his transition from reservas to first team ball was pretty effortless. He has a very bright future. He'll be on display soon with the Honduras U-20 NT.
without clicking the link, i assume its the Vuoso rumor. That or Lugo one. It seems like something our directiva would do. edit: yep, Vuoso lmao
Even the article basically states that Vuoso's best days are long behind him, and acquiring him will only be to appease fans who yearn for the "glory days". I'm finding it hard to believe that our management is that foolish...then again, we've been holding on to Oswaldo Sanchez's corpse for that same reason - to appease a small percentage of fans who view these old f'cks as living legends. Old, tired, and nearly useless...the one skill they have left is the ability to make fans joyful. They might as well be mascots.
Lol yeah. That's what performing well in Sudamericana and Libertadores will do to you. Poor Lanus. The funny thing is, this guy is a better player than Paolo Goltz, the guy we wanted originally before America snatched him (he had ties t0 Mohamed). Can't wait to see him [Izquierdoz] in action.
Were also appearantly about to sign their striker Lautaro Acosta. lol i legit kinda feel bad for them. oh well.
F'ck. I hope America doesn't price Porto out. They must want to get paid after shelling out 10 mil for Oribe.
