The whole league has to go along with it. It will never work with only 2 or 3 teams doing it. Tigres, America, etc. I'm looking at you.
just a reminder chivas managed to go to the 2010 final without foreigners and had sold our best player chicharito #GoChivas #Huehuehue
Of course it is to you people because you all can wait to MLS wins a champions league and then decry that one to be the true indicator and not the 12 or 13 competitions before that where Mexico won. Of course except when it's about international football where everything is all related to 2002.
Taking away that rule that said you had to give youngsters a certain amount of minutes was a mistake IMO. I thought we were finally starting to make some positive changes.
clap clap this is not the real answer to solve our problems but would help us a lot. we need a mix of good mexican experienced players, very but very good foreign players and young players. we have noticed this since mexico started to play copa libertadores years ago but still nothing change in mexico. Chivas, Atlas and now Pachuca are the only ones who dare to debut very young players.
Funny thing about that: Tigres don't take CONCACAF (or any international competition) seriously, and they abused Alajuelense 5-0. America "don't take CONCACAF seriously" (never mind that it was Piojo's sendoff game before "rescuing" the national team) and they lost at home. No excuses, wilas embarrassed themselves.
It really is fckd up how they pick up the competition after the WC when teams are no longer in rhythm. Still 5-0 though
The team died when William Ferreira was sold. Not to mention rumors of our keeper showing up pretty damn out of shape/overweight. Also--keep in mind Romagnoli got a direct red card on his last game last round and should have been out for 2 games..yet conmebol overturned it. I wonder if it has anything to do wtih Grondona (ARG) being the head honcho??? hmmm...
San Lorenzo gonna lift the trophy I assume.. Disgusting argie club I only heard of Nacional de Paraguay once ever. Terrible final.
Credit to Paraguayan clubs though thats 2 years in a row having a finalist Not bad considering that league isnt one of the higher paying leagues Meanwhile our clubs keep having average campaigns
Yeah, Olimpia folded under extreme pressure last edition when they stepped foot into E Mineirão with a 2-0 lead. I find it hard for San Lorenzo to lose this at home. Pope's on their side after all.
