Well, I will admit I thought Newell's Old Boys was going to advance and even picked them to win tonight's match in the prediction thread. And I wasn't able to watch the match, but I now regret not DVR'ing it.

I said last week that Atl.-Nacional had what it took to advance, and a 3-1 win over a very good and tough Newell's team in their own stadium. Good job, Atl.-Nacional. This was a great victory. I look forward now to seeing you play against Atl.-Mineiro - a team which has an altogether different style. It should be entertaining and interesting.

Good Victory. Best part about it is Nacional did not allow a road goal.

Let's see if they can get a draw in Brazil.

I have a good feeling about tonight's match. Osorio's teams usually seem to do better on the road than at home.

    Vamos Nacional!

Love Osorio really hope he stays in Colombia at Nacional or goes to coach in Europe. I was sick of seeing Nacional make super teams then shit their pants during this cup.

San Lorenzo vs Atletico Nacional is who I think will be in the final.

Hopefully a great colombian summer. Copa Lib win then a World Cup win would be sweet. I will be in Barranquilla the last week of the World Cup so hope to be there when Yepes lifts the cup !

Nacional has to come out in the 1st leg next week and set the tone against Defensor. Put up some goals in Medellin and make the Uruguayans suffer at home the following week.
I like that they get to do that. Playing the first match in Uruguay would be more difficult in my opinion.

Big game tonight boys! Let's hope they can get at least a 2-0 at home, no goals allowed very important. I must admit that Sherman made me eat my words against Mineiro, tho I'm still not convinced. Si Me toca Putiarlo Otra Vez Para Que Se Ponga Pilas, pues Lo hare!

Nacional got to finish this game at home with a healthy 2+ goal lead to not be crapping themselves in Uruguay.

With a good win here today they can really try to be more aggressive against Santa fe but at this point it really like Pick what you want to be champion of. I think the Copa Lib no longer has any super strong team other than San Lorenzo which would be the final. I can see Bolivar winning by a lot in Boliva at 1-1 in Argentina !!!!!!

    Bolivar vs Nacional
    Then Nacional vs San Lorenzo
Would be sick if they got the double tho.

Ok I don't know about you but I feel that god does NOT want Nacional to win. Especially after we hit the post TWICE from amazing shots. TT__TT

No man Nacional have wasted 3 goals at least. Not having a striker really Fing them over. They better go for Dayro and to bring back Pabon.

Wow they surely shit their pants......

Well boys another Colombian team Fing it up. They didn't close the game in the 1st half now are losing 2-0 at home. Pathetic play but it comes down to not having any real strikers on this team.

Like I have said before that Armani guy SUCKS !!

It was decided when those shots hit those BS posts. I've accepted the likely hood that we weren't suppose to make it to the next round.

What did I say about Cardona. It's a shame with so much talent that kid will never go further in his career with such a poor attitude.

Love how everyone is shitting on Cardona like he scored 2 own goals. The whole team played bad. They lost by 2 goals and last time I checked he wasn't a defender. Nacional didn't score on their chances and that is why they lost.

his red cards are constant, he is an irresponsible...7 red cards in a man with 21 years is ilogic....there are players with more than 30, without one with defensive possitions....

people have to shit in a player that doesnt have commitment with the club
