There is really only one team for me which is Inter. I'm still a big fan of River but I've enjoyed watching Racing playing this Torneo Final since I get all the matches on DirecTV. I know they aren't doing well but the players I mentioned above are the reasons I've been watching them and also Milito might go back a fav of mine at Inter. I like the Argentine league in general for the young talent you guys bring up and eventually send to Europe.
Thats interesting man. River and Racing are big rivals, in fact, its the oldest "clasico" in Argentina, older than River-Boca... Us River fans have a bit of sympathy for Racing since we've beaten them 87 times and they've only beaten us 38 times in history, and just 8 times in El Monumental... Hell even Funes Mori once scored a hat-trick against them once... Back in the 80s actually Racing and River used to be friends in fact, but in reality Racing has just 1 title in 50 years and since they won the title in 2002, I don't remember them even coming close to winning it again... So if you choose Racing enjoy, and also those players De Paul and Zucculini will be sold almost certainly. River's top youngsters, Balanta and Kranevitter, will almost certainly be staying.
Thanks man River will always be in my heart because of Pablo Aimar the reason I got into them in the first place. I didn't know that River-Racing was an older Classico. Hopefully Racing can finish the season in a respectable place and River can hang on and win the Torneo Final. Yeah I hope De Paul goes to a good team I hear Udinese wants him if so I'll have to root against him lol!
This, appart from being an crappy tournament for Racing, has been a great one for De Paul. He'll do fine if he can adapt. I'm sure he will and wish him well. The operation is almost already done, btw.
Rumors are going around that Diego Milito is going to try and convince Lisandro Lopez and Lucho Gonzalez to join him at Racing. Leonardo Ponzio has also been in contact with Miltio's father about joining...
Spoke too soon! De Paul sold to Valencia in a last minute offer. 6.5 M U$S and 10% of a future transfer. That's a far better deal for Racing, needless to say.
Where did you see DePaul is def going to Valencia? I only read they are leading the race to sign him in the summer.
It was confirmed by the president of Racing himself in almost every media. Ayala btw, was Racing previous manager and he left in good terms with the current president, so its understandable how the deal was so quick... Here are a couple of articles i found http://www.marca.com/2014/05/02/futbol/equipos/valencia/1398986482.html http://www.ole.com.ar/racing/Paul-valenciana_0_1130287127.html
Nice I'm glad he might be going to a team I'm a fan of instead of a rival Serie A club. Now I can still root for him lol.
I'm glad also cause i think he'll adapt better there, with Ayala in the club and an argentinian coach that knows him...
Felicitaciones amiga! Disfrutalo! Racing were deserving champions with 41 points, but don't forget to thank the one big team for prioritizing the Sudamericana. @Sandinista, donde andas campeon?
Gracias!!! Y Gracias Milito por todo!!! Fue increíble poder vivirlo en la cancha y poder encontrarme con mi viejo y hermano dps en el Obelisco...
