here it is! looks a lot like one of my suggestions. http://oklahomacityfc.com/index.php?news&a=view&article_id=45
I'd just pull the "FC" out of the shield entirely, because I think it looks cheap, but other than that it looks really sharp. Good addition of new elements while still giving a nod to what the team has been before. That's a crest that's not going to look like crap ten years from now - it's designed as a crest, not as a trendy logo doubling as a crest (as many teams have fallen victim to in the US/Canada).
Yea, definitely should have kept the same font. Overall though, I like it. When people were saying to put the fly catcher in there, I thought it would look like crap. Really like that though. Hard to tell from the article, is the NPSL team going to go with this crest/color scheme?
Yes. From what I heard, this will be the NPSL crest/colors THIS year, and then the NPSL AND NASL crest/colors NEXT year
They're keeping the name, too. I still want to hear what the game plan is for other, Non-aesthetic points of interest, however.
I really like the crest and colors, I love the scissor-tail on the crest. I am really hopeful again for the future of the NASL in OKC
Awesome, that looks like the one you guys were making , congratulations on name and logo for your team So awesome I made it my Avatar!
Anyone else find it weird that nothing has appeared about the logo/rebranding on the NASL website? The homepage is usually pretty quick to update.
Well, the press release was a little light on info about the NASL, so maybe they are waiting to actually have something to say?
Wouldn't read to much into that since the team doesn't begin play until 2015. Right now, there is a lot of confusion about pro soccer in OKC. Any advertising blitz by the NASL OKC FC just might benefit the USL-Pro OKC Energy.
If I'm not mistaken, it took them a while to update Ottawa after their logo was revealed, Virginia was the same
I posted my submission for the inaugural scarf yesterday. Here was my submission. What do you guys think?
Wow, those colors are popping, nice! Can't remember seeing those combinations. Great choice by the organization.
