Sure it's not Detroit, but it's pretty close ...and pretty huge. Apparently Manchester United and Real Madrid are coming to the Big House this summer. How big of a crowd do you think they'll pull for a friendly? They can't really sell out Michigan Stadium can they? I mean, Man U and Real Madrid have pretty huge (bandwagon) fan bases. Thoughts? You mean the game won't be at Cass Tech? ? ? ? August 2, by my guess, would be the PDL (and possibly NPSL) semi-final weekend (or SF and F in one weekend). I sometimes wonder why the area can't have at least one first-class match (such as this, or a US M/W match) per year.
we've been pretty close... this will be three in four years after the AC Milan game and the USMNT Gold Cup game.
