Former Israeli U-21 & 1860 Munich youth player '93 forward Kenneth Saief, AKA Seif, with 7 goals already this season for Ironi Nir Ramat HaSharon in the Israeli Premier League, is Israeli-American- http://www.transfermarkt.com/en/kenny-seif/leistungsdaten/spieler_176146.html More in the "Detective Work" thread- https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/...tive-work-thread.1987805/page-6#post-29879250 https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/...tive-work-thread.1987805/page-6#post-29883278 Courtesy @Dave Marino-Nachison (who else?).
He has 8 goals - the league uses a split format similar to Scotland that Transfermarkt is listing as a separate season. He is currently tied for 8th in the league in goals, but his team are in the thick of a relegation battle; a 3 way tie on 23 points for last with 2 teams going down. http://eng.football.org.il/Leagues/Pages/PlayerDetails.aspx?PLAYER_ID=34913 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013–14_Israeli_Premier_League#Bottom_Playoff
Thanks @Testudo, but don't hide your light under a bushel (as an old boss of mine used to say). You get credited with the assist at the least, and maybe the goal as well...
So, those defenses might be garbage, but Kenny looks like he's above the IPL level to me. Absolutely shredding people. Might be worth keeping an eye out on this one.
In those highlights he kind of reminded me of Charlie Davies. Quick turns, very fast feet (sharp cuts and small steps), direct and aggressive.
He ended up getting sent off in this game. Anyway, ended the season with 8 goals but unfortunately his team was relegated.

Sure enough: http://www.nieuwsblad.be/article/detail.aspx?articleid=dmf20140804_01204351 Nice move, he earned it.
Great move. This should get him on the USSF's radar if he wasn't already on it, though I suspect he's pretty enveloped in the Israeli system, but who knows.
I'm just glad he's not stuck in the Israeli 2nd tier. He's a young player with some ability, will be interesting to see what he can do at that level.
@bungadiri @Friedel'sAccent can we get a thread title change please? "Kenny Saief at Gent" or "Oh my God! Kenny Saief at Gent" works.
This is saying he scored in his debut (and a 3-0) victory over Brugge, but I cannot find the match listed anywhere http://www.nieuwsblad.be/article/detail.aspx?articleid=DMF20140819_01224120
