Yeah, that started the discussion about him. With the specific city that's pretty persuasive. I'd say 90+% chance he is a Yank... Yancroatian... Good enough to play for Croatia U-19s ... No joke. Would presumably be worth taking a look at with US U-20s if he is eligible.

The poster said his father is an American.

I sent the club an e-mail about this guy (site also says he was born in Estonia) earlier in the week. If I hear back, will post here.

Soccer Talents lists '93 GK Tom Neukam as German-American-
    http://www.soccer-talents.com/Thomas_Neukam-3_7-6044-12.html

He moved early this season from Erzgebirge Aue II to SSV Markranstaedt in Germany's Oberliga NOFV-Sued, where he's played once, vs. Energie Cottbuss II on 9/28-

He spent several seasons with Werder Bremen's youth teams-

I've seen '93 Kenneth "Kenny" Saief, formerly of 1860 Munich, listed as Israeli American in the past. In any case, he's apparently with IPL club Hapoel Nir Ramat HaSharon. The IFA web site says he was born in Israel and spells his last name "Seif."

    http://eng.football.org.il/Leagues/Pages/PlayerDetails.aspx?PLAYER_ID=34913

Wiki says he was born in the States and lists his last name as "Sayef."

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenny_Hasan_Sayef

    http://www.transfermarkt.com/en/kenneth-saief/profil/spieler_209019.html

It seems he scores goals with some frequency. What's the frequency, you ask? The frequency is 8, given an interval lasting the duration of the current season.

He's from a Druze village in northern Israel and his Facebook appears to have been hacked by Tunisian cyber militants, possibly displeased a guy with a Muslim-sounding name chose to represent Israel:

I e-mailed Parma about him a while back and was told that he was born in Italy to African parents. That doesn't mean he can't be a citizen too, of course. My recollection is that his Facebook page used to list a school that was supposedly in the States but which had a common name and that also exists overseas; Soccer-Talents may or may not have connected a few too many dots.

Soccer Talents lists former Hannover 96 youth player '96 midfielder Scott Millard of SG Hameln 74 as German-American-
    http://www.soccer-talents.com/Scott_Millard-3_7-92244-12.html

He shows up with HSC BW Tuendern in the Hannover A-Juniors Landesliga, along with a Sean Millard, who I'm going to jump to the conclusion is his brother-
    http://hannover.sportbuzzer.de/vereine/hsc-bw-tuendern/mannschaft/a-junioren/kader/386/32

Scott debuted with the A-Juniors 8/4/13 vs. TuS Sudweyhe-

Sean is a goalkeeper who played for the B-Juniors 3/17-

    Scott-

From Scott's time with the C-Juniors-

Bolinski, the strong man of the center of defense, and Millard, otherwise known as "sixes" in front of the defensive line from the Bezirksoberliga team the Blue-Whites not indispensable, are pleased to also huge on the long tournament.... "The long time at the indoor tournaments so far we have always coped well," said Scott Millard, the great Manchester United fan remembers.

    This one's for you, @RobtheAggie...

Soccer Talents lists '93 forward Marc Nicati of Neuchatel Xamax 1912 of Switzerland's 1.Liga Classic (4th tier) as Italian-American-
    http://www.soccer-talents.com/Marc_Nicati-3_7-124528-12.html

Xamax won a couple of Swiss Super League titles in the late '80s. They were relegated from the top flight Super League to Swiss 2. Liga interregional (5th tier) amateur level in 2012 due to financial difficulties and have begun working their way back up.

His Xamax profile lists Swiss nationality:
    http://www.xamax.ch/joueur.php?idjoueur=5170#

Transfermarkt says Nicati has 2 goals (brace vs. CS Romontois 8/24/13) this season playing on loan with FC La Chaux-de-Fonds, so he stayed behind in 2.Liga, but played for Xamax in the early stages of the current Swiss Cup-
    [IMG]
    http://www.transfermarkt.com/en/marc-nicati/leistungsdaten/spieler_244434.html

He had 1 goal in 103 minutes over 12 sub appearances for Xamax last season in 2.Liga-
    http://www.transfermarkt.com/en/marc-nicati/leistungsdaten/spieler_244434_2012.html

Evident francophone, definite Euro, but "likes" US Soccer...

Soccer Talents lists '91 midfielder Collin Quaner of 2.Bundesliga club FC Ingolstadt 04 (formerly of Arminia Bielefeld and the German U-20s) as German-American-
    http://www.soccer-talents.com/Collin_Quaner-3_7-49563-12.html

His club profile has him born in Dusseldorf-
    [IMG]
    http://www.fcingolstadt.de/profis/kader/spieler/quaner/

He has played in the last nine 2.Bundesliga games, with a goal and an assist over 441 minutes-

Since breaking all barriers: Even Ingolstadt coach Ralph Hasenhüttl sprinted to the goal scorers Collin Quaner.
    Quaner radiates to Derby victory
2-0 against TSV 1860 Munich! ... The first derby win in the club's history has succeeded primarily because the Ingolstadt as brave as opposed rarely questioned the Münchenern.... Collin Quaner, 56 seconds off the bench before his 2-0 until his luck could not believe. "That was my first contact with the ball. This is an indescribable feeling in a derby to get the winning goal," beamed the 22-year-old, who has played only on the preparation back into the team."

    http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...42/artikel_quaner-strahlt-nach-derbysieg.html

Remarkably, he made his 2.Bundesliga debut with Arminia Bielefeld on 8/20/10, soon tallied his first assist, and notched his first goal on 2/13/11 (still only 19)-

Right under our noses! Playing at this level with a current fringe USMNT player as a teammate ... Can't believe nobody spotted this guy as a potential YA earlier.

A good source told me in early 2011 that Quaner was a Ghanaian-German, so I stopped pursuing the lead. Too many USMNT bugaboo nations in one player. ;)

Thanks I will check into it. Nice find. Xamax went down to the 5th league (7th Division) because their former owner who promised the world, really had very little money and drove the team into bankruptcy in 2012.

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/20...x.bankruptcy.2nd.ld.writethru.0578/index.html

The merged with a club much higher up on the Swiss soccer pyramid, thus making their climb much shorter. I will do some digging to see whatI can find out about this guy.
