Various sites list this guy as being with both Olhanense and Louletano, both in Portugal I believe, but I haven't been able to quickly confirm either one.

He's the leading scorer in the Portuguese second tier with Atletico CP.

    5 goals in 5 games.

Hey @bungadiri or @Friedel'sAccent - we need a new thread title for a new club. Cheers

Portuguese article quoting his manager (Google Translate version of his name amusing) saying Johnsen has a bright future and the talent to advance in the game, but "El Flaco" needs to fill out:
    http://www.agentedesportivo.com/2014/08/29/atletico-cp-«bjorn-tem-grande-futuro»-manuel-balela/

Breakout season accompanied by cultivation of a sweet high-top fade ... Coincidence? I think not.

I think it is, but all old threads start on the main forum, so this one probably just hasn't been moved yet.

I'd say that it's a shame he's too old for a kid n play thread title, but this one is fantastic.

This guy seems like he could possibly be a real breakout candidate that comes from nowhere like Johannsson did.

El Flaco is already 23 and still playing second division? I hope he is a late bloomer, like his ball control and vision, in the vid he doesn't seem to show to have a fifth gear, in other words, he doesn't seem to have the speed to pull away from others.

QPR are keeping tabs on Atletico Clube de Portugal striker Bjorn Johnsen.

Bjorn Johnsen. Without it, Atletico was nothing

Norwegian born in the United States has as many goals (nine) that the team scored in the championship Tapadinha
Atletico struggle to not fall in League II. Fulfilling the fourth time in the professional level, the alcantarenses had a remarkable first year (9th place after being leaders), but since then the priority was to survive. Last year, the team was ranked last but enlargement to 24 teams allowed to stay.
The challenge was renewed this season. Form a squad was the great difficulty and for now, eight days later, Atletico is 23 and the second bottom of the league. With 13 goals conceded is only surpassed by Feirense and nine scored above represent a minimum average of a goal a game.
Nothing of the club is to be extraordinary, including the alleged lack of conditions to train and bathing, except for one detail. Bjorn Johnsen is the best scorer in the league. Ricardo Valente (Leixões), Tozé Drake (Viseu) and Rui Fonte (Benfica B) get a good record with five, but nobody beats the Norwegian born in the United States. For fans, the logic is simple to understand: if there Atletico goal, Bjorn is you are dialing. Thus, hit nine goals in eight days - only two were from the penalty spot.
Who is the man goal of Tapadinha anyway and how can you stand to be so critical? Bjorn Johnsen was discovered in the Algarve having scored nine goals in 29 matches in the service of Louletano last season in the National Senior Championship. Now, less than two months of competition, this brand has been matched and the name begins to gain strength and size media, beginning to show names of interested - last week the "Morning Post" joined the advanced 22 years of Sporting and Belenenses.
The evolution of Bjorn Johnsen is far from typical. The advanced 1.95 meters left of the youth teams of Valerenga for unknown FK Tønsberg in early 2011 followed the Antequera and Atlético Baleares (both Spain) to finally get the adventure in the Algarve. The highest point is just to be athletic, although the trend is not identical in the League Cup, with two of the six goals scored by the team in the first phase.
The percentage of team goals in League II is unprecedented and rivals can not even approach. Over the past five years, only once a player managed to finish the season with more than 50% of the total goals of the team. In 2011/12, Joeano 19 made by Arouca, equivalent to 59% of the goals scored by the then 13th ranked. In the Portuguese League, the last player to finish a season with more than 50% of the goals the team was Jardel (Sporting) in 2002.
No goals from Bjorn Johnsen Atletico have only one point in the championship and be in last place.

Very intriguing player to watch, he has excellent ball control for his size, he is a tween, he won't out-muscle anyone but with his height, the skies are his.
