    Arizona Soccer Fans,

As we await the mods to approve our new user account so we can post, I thought I'd get the ball rolling here!

Arizona United was born last week and we are working VERY hard to provide soccer fans in Arizona an organization that you deserve!

At this moment, the website is under construction, a search for a head coach and players is well underway and ticket prices and ordering information should be available this week!

As you can imagine, we have a lot of work to do and are up for the task. Please be patient and hang in there, great things are ahead!

    Website: http://www.arizonaunited.com

We want to here from you... What questions do you have? Fire away and I will reply!

Ron....another great move from you all, reaching out to the fan base. Thank you very much.

Looking forward to the season ticket pricing information coming out. To be honest we held off on purchasing when it became clear that PFC were not going to be able to make it, so we will be purchasing them as soon as the details are published.

You have touched on two of the main questions I have seen around the various fan sites. The others being:

    1. Any news on negotiations with USL and Colorado to reschedule the first game?
    2. We know the player signings with start coming after the coach is announced. In your comment, above, you said its making progress....any thoughts on a time-frame for that too? Appreciating that it is hard to be specific when you are searching for the right candidate and negotiations are taking place.
    3. We know a number of the players from last season had been looking to return here, do you anticipate the coach will be talking to the likes of Scott Morrison, Sheldon, Reid Schmitt, David Paul and Devon or looking for a fresh start?
    4. There were rumors that a bunch of players were here training with PFC who were signed but who were not registered with USL yet. Do you know if that's the case and if any of those are included in the above names? Is this a pool of players that are available to the new coach?
    5. Lastly, I think, Is there any chance we can do a pretty flyer regarding season tickets? One that people like me can print off and put them out in public places...such as my offices and other places (OK bars) some of us frequent? That way we can help spread the word.

Thanks again for all you guys are doing and for engaging with us. We appreciate it more than you can imagine.

    Thanks for your questions!...

Here is what we can share at this moment to answer/explain some of your questions:

The game @ Colorado has officially been cancelled. It will be replaced with a game later in the season... Get this... @seattle!

Hiring the right coach takes some time. We are well aware of our timeline leading up to the start of the season, with that said, we want to make sure it is the right fit. That's not my role here, however, Kevin Stevenson, Director of Soccer Operations has been incredibly busy interviewing candidates. An announcement is coming soon regarding that and the direction to field a team!

Season ticket fliers and schedules are at the printers, should be available this weekend!

We will have a booth at the P83 event at Peoria Sports Complex on Saturday. Stop by and say hello!

Thanks, Ron, thats perfect. I appreciate that there are things that can not be shared until they happen. At the end of the day you are a business and these things take time and privacy. It is clear though that you and your team will share the information as soon as you can and that is all we ask.

We will definitely stop by the booth on Saturday.

Fingers crossed that the Seattle game is here....but I am guessing that will be just a little to much to hope for :)

Thanks Ron for starting this thread. It's great to see people within AZ Utd taking a strong interest in hearing from the community and fans.

Here are a couple questions I have.

    1) After the coach is hired and players are signed, is there any talk of having open practices to the public, LFR, or season ticket holders?

    2) Will there be any special benefits for being a season ticket holder?

    Ron,

First, thank you and Kyle Eng and everyone else for rescuing our team and giving us hope again.

Your organization's upfront and engaged communication is a welcome relief to all of us that waited in the dark for so long. Thank you for recognizing that and addressing that issue.

Can you tell us more details about the season ticket packages and seat pricing structures you plan on implementing? I know AUSC was saying that they are looking at consolidating it to 3 pricing tiers. Will there be any other benefits offered to season-ticket holders? One that was offered a few weeks ago when PFC put tickets on sale was the ticket rollover option where if you missed a game you could use that ticket as an additional ticket to the next game. A very attractive option I hope you'll consider.

That's all the questions I have for now. I do have a few petty requests though. Plaese don't make any promises you can't keep. Don't use "Soon" when addressing anything. It's become a dirty word ;). And a very easy thing you could do for LFR is to renumber our supporters section to 301. It does have a special meaning to us.

Thanks again, and April 12th cannot come fast enough!

Anything but rudimentary merch takes a while. It is just nature of the beast.

Totally understand. Just asking because it is a question that has been asked to me a few times already...the focus was t-shirts and team jerseys.

    Thanks for your questions...

    1. Yes, we are looking into this. Our team... is YOUR team! So yes, we will investigate dates when we can hopefully arrange this.

    2. We looked at that but have elected to reduce the cost of tickets instead. Maybe next year?

Thanks again and I look forward to seeing you at a game!

Thank you for being a fan and for hanging in there!

We are working through the release of ticket information now. I will take your advice and not use the word "Soon" but will say, it won't be long! ;-) We are looking to reduce the cost of tickets per what PFC had offered. With that in mind and the time-table in front of us, that is what we feel is the best option this season. We may look to do this next year. The ticket rollover option is something we will look into as well.

Re-numbering a section at an established section at a stadium is probably not an option, but we will figure something out to suffice LFR.

It is being looked into now, but will take a little time. We are on it though!

Since we can't get customized jerseys this season, will you guys be using someone else besides Lotto next year?
