Genki allusion in manga 'Kenka Shobai' - Tell me earlier about such things! I also have to prepare - Don't get mad over such thing. You're not Red's Genki Haraguchi.
More like a whole bunch of things. He got in a tussle with Edmilson during training a few years back and ordered him to apologize; flipped out at Petrovic for subbing him off during the 1st half; and dislocated Okamoto's shoulder by kicking him while he was on the ground. It'd be fun to see him start sh*t in Turkey or elsewhere in Europe.
I dont know why someone would like the above Dax for instance... I personally hope he matured is getting better in that area
Seems like someone from Urawa might go to Brazil. I'm talking about Haraguchi who showed some great football against Gamba and lots of prises everywhere.
Damn.. So what do you think? is it for real or just lost in translation somewhere? That they are tired of hopeless foreign players for example ? ( they haven't had a good one since Washington..) Or something pointed towards China? Everytime I've been to Saitama I have however always felt very welcomed, and this doesnt really change that. Probably it's just one or two douchebags who are trying to act cool?
Unfortunately it does seem that this was a real incident. Reports are that Tadanari Lee was booed by (a subset of?) Urawa supporters throughout the game, which is what Makino is referring to by "teammates". IIRC there was some uneasiness on the Internet when Lee was signed given the supposed right-wing leanings of Urawa ultras. I've never been to Saista so I can't speak to the atmosphere there, but this is a big black eye on the club and the league. It's disgraceful that stadium staff didn't do anything about it immediately and that the club released a gutless, noncommittal statement on their website ("could be interpreted as discriminatory" ). They should shut down the curve, issue a hefty fine and ban the individuals/groups involved.
To elaborate it's more like a bunch of insecure guys wanting to gain a sense of belonging trying desperately to get some attention.
The club has identified several individuals involved and had removed the offending banner, but not until the match had concluded. Security contractors also reported hearing discriminatory jeering. http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20140309-00000030-asahi-spo J-League chairman vows to get to the bottom of the issue and deal with offenses as appropriate. http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20140309-00000090-jij-spo The club posts a second press release confirming some of the basic facts of the situation. http://www.urawa-reds.co.jp/topteamtopics/サガン鳥栖戦での出来事について第2報 /
I doubt Lee was booed there I only heard assumptions and people asking if it happened if I remember well. I don't know if that was for the fans (that's the area behind the goal), the players or the club. As naopon posted, it was hanged on the end of the half time and stayed there for an hour until it was disposed. I'm sure that Reds offcials will do fine and ban those idiots who amde it from the stadium for at least few years. There was Che Guevara flag in the past so nothing can surprise me when it comes to Urawa 'goru no ura' part of Reds supporters. Anyway here's today's response from Gifu and Sapporo
"People who enjoy cheering only." Not all that clever but positive. About Lee I think fans at the stadium did report him getting booed. I don't think it was pure conjecture....Urawa does have a bad track record in that area, having directed slurs at Ryang Yong-gi a few years back.
You telling me they will boo him even if he ll score 20+ goals for them? problem is he wont This is what I think. I think when people play bad, there are people who bring out all sort of problems. Sure it is racism, but they will only throw it out like that when he wont score imo
So why is it happening on matchday 2? I don't care if the guy has 20 goals or 20 own goals, the situation is unacceptable. Play a game behind closed doors if only to send a clear message.
