I think you're right that he's Australian. He was listed that way with his North Carolina youth club. Cool name though. http://www.uslsoccer.com/teams/58149807/6188518-58149874/59972315.html
I spoke to Varese. They confirmed he holds US/French citizenship. He's a '96. He actually plays for the "Berretti" team, one level below the Primavera, where he's listed as "midfelder" (attacking, they tell me). Varese 1910 - Rosters
Transfermarkt and FuPa list a '96 GK named Maurice Braun at Hessen Kassel as a Yank. I've e-mailed the club in search of more info.
Soccer-Talents says a 1996 named Ray Bishop is German-American: http://www.soccer-talents.com/Ray_Bishop-3_7-77114-12.html They have him at 1860 Munich, but a November article has a player of that name with the U19s of JFG Neuburg: http://www.augsburger-allgemeine.de/neuburg/sport/Nachwuchskicker-nicht-zu-schlagen-id27798967.html Sure enough, he's on the roster: http://www.jfg-neuburg.de/html/u19.php
Soccer-Talents says a German-American '96 named Michael Davies is with SV Arminia Hannover: http://www.soccer-talents.com/Michael_Davies-3_7-90183-12.html As it happens, a recent article seems to indicate that he is no longer with the club for what may be disciplinary reasons. http://hannover.sportbuzzer.de/magazin/a-junioren-von-germania-grasdorf-wollen-oben-angreifen/7593
Soccer-Talents now also says LSC's '95 GK Anthony Hannemann is German-American. http://www.soccer-talents.com/Anthony_Hannemann-3_7-194670-12.html http://lscneu.blogspot.com/p/fuball-teams.html
Anyone manage to find a birth year for this guy? I see two possible candidates: 1) There's a Steven Benitez born in 1987 who is listed as having played in one of Florida's top men's leagues 2) There's an Andrew Steven Benitez born in 1996 who is a former LA Galaxy academy player, whose nationality is listed on the USSDA website as "United States," and who has El Salvador U-17 caps.
Soccerway lists him as a 1991 from New Jersey. http://us.soccerway.com/players/steven-leonzio-benitez-castro/307945/ <edit> Ok, it looks like this twitter account "Estevin Benitez" is him. The official UES account follows him, he talks about playing and he definitely has family in New Jersey. I think this tweet tells us what we really need to know: 362597044763893761 is not a valid tweet id
According to the end of this article in the local paper the former college forward Wojciech Wojcik is trialing with swedish Superettan club Ljungskile SK. Not really sure if he's polish, or american, or both? Transfermarkt has his nationality as both. Either way he's playing a preseason game for the club today against BK Häcken, although he is starting on the bench.
The Tutto Calciatori site says a '95 named Alassane Tamba (or Tamba Alassane) with Italian lower division team Vittorio Falmec, was born in Las Vegas. http://www.tuttocalciatori.net/Tamba_Alassane But maybe not: http://www.calciatori.com/calciatore/tamba-alassane

A '93 named Eric Costa who played in Portugal for Academica Coimbra during 2012/13 is apparently American-born. http://ng.soccerway.com/players/eric-batista-costa/264844/ This is supported on a result that shows up in Google but is password-protected. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...tQvAHIBe1t0s_rrYA&sig2=kLAL3e3tNJCwDyHplq6BrA

Some sites say Matthew (Mateusz) Korziewicz, the #3 GK at Polish club ZKS Izolator, is American. The club's site doesn't say. http://www.zksizolator.eu/izolator-boguchwaa/kadra-201213.html http://www.footballzz.com/jogador.php?id=391748&epoca_id=0&search=1 He's a '97.

Colo Colo (Chile's) '93 Claudio Baeza is listed by BDFA as Chilean-American. My hunch is it's an error because while he was born in LA, it was LA de Chile. Just a hunch, could be wrong. http://bdfa.com.ar/jugadores-CLAUDIO-BAEZA-90354.html http://www.colocolo.cl/jugadores/claudio-baeza/equipo/primer-equipo/
Transfermarkt says there's a German-American '88 named Marcel Loeber at KSV Baunatal, but I can't find him at the club (or anywhere else for the moment). http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/marcel-loeber/profil/spieler_58721.html http://www.ksv-baunatal.eu/
A '95 named Chase Reichenberg, who according to Transfermarkt is German-American and currently at VfB Luebeck, has indeed played with their U19s this month. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/chase-reichenberg/profil/spieler_196410.html http://www.vfb-luebeck.de/newsarticle/items/u19-punktet-auch-in-hannover.html http://www.vfb-luebeck.de/newsarticle/items/u19-erkaempft-22-gegen-hansa-rostock.html He's not on that team's roster page, so he might have moved there midseason or something. I sent the club an e-mail in hopes of finding more info.
