Can we get Caicedo to pull back like he did in this game and get Ener to move up in front of him?

Sometimes Chucho was behind him other times he was behind Chucho. We need Ener to get used to playing that role with Felipe. But most of all Felipe needs to pull back IMO. Rueda pushed him way far up and glued his ass there after Benitez passed and it hasn't been working out. Just something to think about...i think Manolo and I have mentioned this before.

My opinion on Bauza is that he gets attached to certain players and forgets to anticipate when he must renovate the squad. I'm not saying he doesn't renovate at all, but he just doesn't anticipate it too well- that's what happened in Liga. He did everything last minute and that's why we suffered 2 years in a row now. But the good thing is before Bauza left in the last 2 years he has introduced us to Patricio Hurtado, Kevin Mercado, Jose Cevallos Jr., and Gabriel Corozo. One of them already playing in Europe (Cevallos Jr) and two more leaving after June (Corozo and Mercado). So he DID find players, but he just took too long. With the NT, it's true there's a lot more to choose from but who knows how that would work out. I do believe the ecuadorian player and the selection of players we have (according to their characteristics and adaptability) are VERY capable of adapting to the line of 3 because many of them have played with this system at club level. Some have played it for years. At NT level it has never been done though, so that's where it gets tough to make the call if it would work out productively or not. Anyway, Bauza plays with a line of 4 too so it's not an issue of which system he plays at the end of the day.

Out of all the players you named I can only say that the REAL guys que pintan para ser grandes are Jonathan Gonzales, Gabriel Corozo, Carlos Gruezo, and Cevallos Jr.. Miguel Parales, Kevin Mercado, and Cristian Ramirez are still pending in my eyes. Really good players, but there's still more they must prove before they get into the bracket which I consider future stars of the NT...but that's just me. Joel Valencia is playing 3rd division ball, doubt he makes it big anytime soon he's kind of lost himself but he's still young which is a good thing. But one things for sure, he'll have a better future than Fernando Guerrero if he makes the right moves(which isn't bad at all, Guerrero is a great player). Ely Esterilla is a good player, I'm liking what I see but at most I think he'll end up back in Mexico, he's not amazing just pretty interesting at this point. Elvis Patta's great player and so is his brother; although his brother is like 25 or 26. Doubt he can make it to the NT...Elvis is more of a player that I can see in Mexico before Europe as well. Junior Sornoza same thing- great player who IMO can make it to the NT but at this point I can only see him in Mexico, although I do believe he has the talent to go to Europe in the future just not now. David Velez and Darwin Suarez- i can't really comment on them b/c I haven't seen them play. There's also that other kid Danny Cabezas from Velez who was doing great last season in the reserves and even debuted in Velez's first team I believe and now he got lost. I think that kid David Velez is the one doing good now.

Juan Cazares- i want to see his come back with Banfield in first division. I see that he's lately been a standout and has Banfield in the number 1 slot and ready to get the promotion back into the top flight next season. Now this will be VERY interesting. We might just see him break into our squad next Qualifier, but with Rueda as coach it might be hard b/c Rueda doesn't play with enganches. Wish that kid the best of luck....he got lost for a second but it's nice to see that he picked himself back up. I almost gave up on him completely. I think him and Miller Bolanos would be awesome enganches for the NT next Qualifier. Two amazing alternatives if you ask me.

I Know, that's why I stated that I doubt that all of these players will be stars, but if 2 or 3 become world class players, we cant be mad at that.
However, I do believe that this generation coming up is the most exciting we ever had, Vizuete himself has stated that he's got so much to choose from now a days.

Anyone heard what's going on won't that Ecua player that was in Barcelona of Spain and went to Chelsea? All I've heard is that Barca is going after the dad and Chelsea for taking him away. Hope he pans out.

So it looks like today we're playing our WC starting lineup against Australia B team. So if we win it doesn't mean anything but if we lose our morale will be on the floor. Either way, we won't learn anything new about the team.

    Rueda is a genius.

Castillo and Naboa nowhere to be found. Castillo is terrible... Even worse than he was before. You can tell his level has fallen off big time since moving to the Middle East.

Ecuador=pure joke. What a poor showing and that defense sucks. Achilier simply doesn't belong anywhere near the NT. He is horrible. Not to mention our midfield sucks. Naboa doesn't do carp and can't get out of Russia for a reason. Castillo shouldn't even be called up anymore. We have better talent in the middle than them.

As bad as Erazo has been playing I'd rather put him in and take out Achilier

This defense is a disaster, you'd think they would bring something productive to the table a few months before the World Cup but Rueda wants to play kickball. Achilier is done after this. He should never play again.

You're blaming Bone?! Hahahahahaha! Do you see the shit defense we have?! He has saved at least 2-3 goals. All the blame falls on Achilier. He is at failt for EVERY GOAL! Not to mention the mid field is missing.
