The Roar are averaging less than 1500. well when you are on pace to be the worst team ever to complete a full season in indoor soccer, and you are getting blown out night after night, guess what fans don't come out to see you. the roar have broken 10 points just twice this year, in their lone win 16-0 against St Louis, and in a 24-13 loss to Syracuse. They have scored fewer than 5 points 8 times, 5 points 3 times, have only once come within a goal in a loss- they lost 10-9 in Syracuse early in the year, and are in general absolutely woeful. its not out of the realm of possibly they don't even reach 100 goals on the season, they need to score 12 goals over the last 4 games,, and they are averaging 5.5 per game. assuming they keep that average, that would mean they would score another 22 goals, leaving them with 110 on the year.

Nobody came out to see them when they were 0-0.

And their attendance has actually improved as the season has gone on.

From a team perspective it's very hard to write anything flattering or come up with a compelling reason for anyone to come when you get blown out every game.

It's obvious they didn't know how to sell and market and it's too late to learn once you get into it.

Blast finishes up 10% ahead of last year's announced average. Comets finish down just over a percent. Rochester's home finale is tomorrow (though I'm still missing the number for one of their home games) and they are likely to lead the league for the second straight year.

One of the smaller ones this season for sure.

That's with a "0" for the Rochester game data point that is missing (12/14 against St. Louis). But Rochester will still lead the league, even with one null crowd. Which I have to track down.

Assuming they end up announcing at least 1,900 for that game, Rochester will be the first team since the 2008-09 Blast to average over 7,000.

Ambush finishes at 5,636 average for 10 home games. Will finish third in the league at the gate. Just shy of the Steamers' average for their last season in 2005-2006 (5,675).

St. Louis finishes 4-16 and 1-9 on the road. How did they ever win one on the road?

Haines' two teams will be a combined 5-35. Or as we like to call it, the Chicago Power.

Was particularly impressed because of the crappy weather tonight.

Yep, me too. Bit of a late arriving crowd, but in the end, another good showing.

It did seem like a large crowd and well spread out. Fun game to be at. The Ambush gave them a run for the money tonight.
