Wouldn't National League teams enter next round?

What are these "Nexen Tire" , "Samsung Electronics" type teams? Are they company teams? I didnt know they were allowed to compete in the FA cup.

Nexen, Samsung, etc are the actual company team. It's an amateur team with those workers playing in it (직장팀). This is their first appearance since 5 years.

Korea University is in this round they are playing JN Chorus Mustangs. im not 100% sure on participation in the fa cup but it appears to be more regional based rather than merit based.

I assume Yonsei University might get a first round bye.

Challengers League's 서울중랑코러스무스탕 or just known as JCM FC, beat another U-league side to go through to Round of 32.
In previous round they beat U-league's top side Korea University and yesterday they managed to beat Gwangju University with 10-men. We still wait for the Wednesday fixtures which involves K League Challenge sides.

Would love get a glimpse of Kim Byung-soo's football. Especially the supposedly 'next Kim Seung-dae' Jung Won-jin.

Yeungnam University is the first team to go through to Quarter-finals. They beat Daejeon Korail on PKs (5-4) after 1-1 (Moon Byung-woo scored for Daejeon & Jang Soon-kyu for Yeungnam).

This is the first time a Uni side has made it to Quarters since 2006 with Honam University. No U-league side have advanced onwards.

Coach Kim Byung-soo after the match - "I expected a tough match due to the injures of our starting players but our players gave their best and we won. In the quarter-finals we will face a Pro-team and thinking we will win is a greed. We will calmly get ready for the next match."
