I remeber we parked the bus against Holland pretty effectively. What do you think we can do to be as good defensively as in the match against Holland and Paraguay?
Takeshi Okada takes on advisory role at Deloitte Consulting Japan. http://www.asahi.com/articles/ASG264QTYG26PLFA00C.html?iref=comtop_6_04
We were good defensively against Paraguay though. Any way you think Japan can repeat such a defensive performance again?
Ok, what I mean was that how can Japan repeat their defensive performance in the last world cup this year?
Don't really like this plan... Anyway, there might be friendlies against Costa Rica and Honduras in May/June

However, i'm a bit disappointed by this choice. But I believe we might play vs USA or Nigeria just after the game against Costa Rica.
I don't mind too much if they play not so tough opponents at the final home match. If Japan play Costa Rica at home that would be a nice send-off game. Or would the Costa Rica match be played once in camp? Once abroad hopefully a few quality games will be scheduled. Surely Russia would be keen for a game. I don't know enough about Greece & Cyprus' style of play, maybe that's why it was scheduled if they're similar.
Costa Rica will be in Miami. A lot of teams are setting up camp there so hopefully we'll hear about some others. Not that CR are pushovers. They beat the US and Mexico in the final round of WCQs and finished 2nd in CONCACAF.
I prefer that the JNT lose a friendly before the WC. It helped them in the 2010 WC, in 2006, they drew against Germany in a friendly and went out in the group stages.
i'm sure it's not hard to find an example of a team winning a warmup match and then doing well at the world cup.
