No news is good news when it comes to Bolivian soccer. BTW, I got invited to the Colombia-Chile next week, by a client company of mine. I will of course, be rooting for Colombia...

Well the only news is that our nats are training in Santa Cruz for a meaningless game in Peru, I guess at the very least we may see some more of the younger players.......I would cheer for Colombia too!

Are we seeing the final WCQ for Ronald Raldes? I have a feeling that he will retire from intl play. All that losing can really become a burden.

He is probably my favorite national player of all time. All class and never turning down a call-up.

Holy time machine Batman! Playaz is back! Good to have an old poster back. Nice picture with Bichi, just found out he's coaching Sport Boys. De que sufres Playaz, you got skinnier than your last pictures a few years ago.

Did you end up going to the game. That was a pretty crazy match to attend.

Raldes is all class. He was just born in the wrong generation of Bolivian futbol. Definitely will be missed.

Fuentes is actually a member of the squad (not on the coaching staff). Apparently it is in his contract that he only has to play home games (i.e. no games at higher altitudes).

    Well boys!
That was it, those are the qualifiers, and we missed them yet again. Big ********ing surprise?! i know.
As of today, I will no longer be posting or following the forum on a regular basis anymore.
I will try to check it every now and then for legit news, until then, peace.

I did!! I had not had this much fun watching a game in a long time. The entire city was one big party afterwards, but I think it was one of the biggest comebacks in soccer history. That stadium erupted with the third goal...lots of fun!

I don't blame you. The way I see it Chavez and the rest of those clowns got to go. Once that happens you can start rebuilding, but you got to cut out the Cancer first. As as the Bolivia forum as soon as Libertadores gets going I'll be more interested in posting.

I really wish these ladies all the best. From what I've read, it looks like they have played so far the weaker teams of the continent but have done something that their male counterparts haven't done and that is win the games you are suppose to win. It looks like Paraguay is a good team and I think they play them on Wednesday to close out the stage so it'll be interesting to see the outcome of that. That being said, besides Paraguay, they have Brasil and Colombia in the final round-robin stage and I don't think it'll be as easy but Vamos Bolivia! This could be the start of a bright future for our women's national team. Does anyone know if this is being televised or where one can see it online?

Just started losing some weight for some reason. I am back healthy and enjoying what I see in Oriente Petrolero. I stopped by San Antonio last few weeks ago and we may get a Sede this year. Our team is going to be a surprise this year including Libertadores. Good luck to our Women's soccer team, they are World cup material!

I wish I could say I saw this coming....is it too late to jump on the bandwagon ? Lol
Not sure who they play next, but if I'm right 3 out of the 4 remaining teams make it to Canada's World Cup. I'm hoping these ladies take one of those spots.

Actually, only 2 out of the 4 make it so it's gonna be difficult but let's hope they can do it.

Just as I feared, Bolivia lost it's fist game 4-0 to Paraguay in the final match of the 1st phase. They'll be playing them again along with Brasil and Colombia in the 2nd phase and from the looks of it, it's gonna be very difficult to get one of the 2 spots. Since the final match didn't really matter as they already qualified to the 2nd phase, let's hope they didn't play all their starters.

Hope this is not the way things go in the next round. It would be great to have the country in a World Cup.

Great. I doubt we'll prepare the way we should. Would be great if we had 3-5 friendlies in a 2 month time. One Friendly every few months does nothing.

Regardless, I'm there if they play.
