Update: Ronaldo was able to provide the game winner with a finish off the break in Real Madrid's 2-1 El Clasico victory over Barcelona.

Analysis: Big time players come up in big time moments, and Ronaldo has his moment on Saturday. His game and his team's victory puts Real Madrid up seven points with just four games to play all but sealing La Liga up for the first time in four years.

The rumor has been quite a while. It's said Cristiano Ronaldo will be back to Manchester United. Do you expect to see him on the Manchester United jersey again?

As much as I would like to see it happen, I don't think it will

Even though Ronaldo himself has said he loved his time at United and would love to go back, I don't think we will see it happen

The funny thing is, you've probably never been in a 100 kilometer radius of him, and you think that you know him. Or are you a personal friend of his?

Agreed, but I think it is possible he could move to Paris or Monaco, depending on how the year goes and how the squad evolves.

With Sir Alex no longer as manager - no he wont - the Man U he left and fondly remembers has changed.

How do you guys think Ronaldo's 2014 will be?

Also, another question that is food for thought. Has Ronaldo just peaked, and his most important years will be from 28-34? Considering his physical condition, this could very well be true. And scary for teams.

Nah, he was just as good in 2008. And statistically his best season was 2011-12 but didn't win the Ballon d'Or because it was also Messi's best season statistically.

Think about it. His athletic ability should be able to let him play in big leagues until the age of 36.

Of course he can play in big leagues at 36, question is, at what level? Thierry Henry was in great shape, but isn't the same player now as he was at 28.

Considering his fitness, I think at a pretty high level. I don't even think he has entered his peak yet.

Of course, I could be wrong, but I think Ronaldo still has time left in his career.

Think Diego Forlan. His age was no factor in his amazing goals at the WC (5 of them). I think as Ronaldo would get older, his playing style will change to a more finishing and shooting, or dribbling style of play, where long, explosive runs will be cut out due to age.

If a forward can make the transition from, creating his own chances to, exploiting weaknesses with his positioning and finishing his chances, he might turn into a Fred or a Romario. Fred started scoring a lot more older due to suberb positioning and Romario had his best scoring years past 30.

Henry always depended on his athletic ability to score, I actually think Ronaldo is a more polished forward, you see him putting himself in positions to score, and facilitating the playmakers life by making himself available. I think Ronaldo will keep scoring until he's 40.

Not at the current rate, that's all I'm saying. He's no Zidane or Pirlo - > ie. guys who don't rely heavily on their speed to succeed.

I've seen plenty of goals where Ronaldo just waits at the defensive line to break away or receives a pass where he's completely wide open. He's not completely wide open because the person passing had immense vision to put the ball there, I actually think it's the opposite, because Ronaldo can put himself at that position it makes it easier to give him the ball.

plus he is a clinical finisher. Players when they get older to score they use clinical finishes and positioning. I truly see those two aspects as great pluses for Ronaldo. He will 100% rely more heavily on passes from his teammates, but i trust on him to put himself on the position to receive those passes.

Also, Ronaldo has an amazing shot. And his passing can improve as his sprinting goes away. He can also still head the ball effectively as his age grows by.

By the way, don't count out Ronaldo's running speed out until after 34. He has the physical fitness required to keep on running even in his mid 30s.
