Is Defederico the most unluckiest Argentine in Brazil ? Just saw him playing for Corinthians, he tries, but he does not get a thing right.
Conca (Fluminense) one of the top 3, for many the best, player's of this season in Brazil. 5 goals, 17 asists, Flu back on top.
Conca Redentor!!! We have another God protecting us (at least the Fluminense fans) LOL http://www.ole.com.ar/futbol-internacional/Conca-Redentor_0_362363853.html
And Rosario Central, considering how at some point they had both Conca and Di Maria, the former barely played there.
Does anyone know what the price tag of the transfer was? Also, how much is Inter paying him contract-wise?
Adrian Martinez from Olimpo is close to joining Flamengo. He played with the U20s in 2011. Anyone have any sort of information or opinion on him?
Well, Olimpo is very closing to ascending to the Primera Division again, as they are down in the B at the moment. The team gets almost no national media exposure because Olimpo is Bahia Blanca, a small city of about 300,000 near the boarder of Patagonia. They hardly cover a club like Newell's, which is from Rosario, leader of the liga, and in the quarterfinals of the Libertadores, so imagine what its like to follow a team from Bahia Blanca in the 2nd division That being said, why would your club want an Argentine player? Argentines are savages... And the level of play in our Primera Division is far worse than the 3rd division of the Campeonato Cariaca, so I'd say our nacional b is the equivalent of amateur futbol played by 10 year old children in the favelas.
I remember him, he was the right back on the Sub 20 team at the World Cup in Colombia, in which Argentina should have won, but got knocked out on pens by Portugal, missing many chances. The defense, allowed just 1 goal in 5 games, and it was a pen. Martinez was ok, but nothing special. He didn't really add much at all going forward as I recall. His rights are owned by San Lorenzo he's only being loaned to Olimpo, so that tells you what San Lorenzo thinks of him if they loaned him to a team in the B. He's 21 now, so its really not a good sign that they loaned him out. Though another San Lorenzo reject, Walter Montillo, is a hero with Cruzeiro... and is now, funnily enough, with Santos... So I am assuming Santista now roots against his own club, as it has 2 Argentines (Pato Rodriguez being the other)
D'Alessandro has quietly had a very good season for Internacional. Scocco hasn't been able to settle in since his move. Maxi Biancucchi got off to a hot start and has cooled off ever since for Vitoria. Guinazu has been injured and I don't think has returned yet for Vasco. Clemente Rodriguez has been in the reserve for SPFC. Montillo has had an up-and-down season for Santos. He struggled with form early on, got better, got hurt, came back good, got hurt, and is playing well at the moment.
I know you're not an Inter fan, but do you think there is any chance Inter would let D'Alessandro go for a reasonable price? Or is he too important a figure for them to let him go?
I've seen him linked to your River Plate. I'm not sure what your finances are like, but I would imagine they'd put up a fight to keep him. He was clearly their MVP in a year where Inter underachieved. I think Scocco has a better chance of leaving via loan.
Yea it will be hard to bring him, I know he is an idol there I'd like Scocco, but the problem is I don't think he'll play for another team in Argentina besides Newell's. He is a River fan, but he would piss soooo many people off if he came to play for us
Argentina's future #10, Lucas Mugni, had a good debut yesterday. He was extremely active in all of our attacking plays -- always moving around finding space, asking for the ball, putting in nice balls and even taking shots on goal.
He's an interesting player, but I don't know about going as far as saying he's Argentina's future #10.
