I tought people were overrreacting before seeing the video. Now I think people is UNDERreacting... damn, I would weep for humanity's fate if the guy/gal who made the video is not fired and flipping burgers right now.
http://www.sctv.co.id/streaming DC United's Indonesian tour... The only games featuring a MLS team that matter.
I'm escaping to this thread later for relatively level-headed draw discussion. Also, Terrence Boyd makes me laugh: https://twitter.com/TBoyd91/status/408948054419861504/photo/1
Consider SKC's two scorers in the second leg of their conference final played for Orlando City this year. Food for thought.
Sheeesh. I was hoping level-headedness would be called for. It really isn't, is it? Oh, well. To be the best you have to beat the best. Good story lines in the run up are fun for new fans, too.
Silver Lining Department: The two rivals we most need to beat needed playoffs to qualify.... Making it out of the group will mean a round-of-16 that might be easier than any of the group games.... we don't have David Regis at right back?
Is this about the World Cup? Only Portugal "needed playoffs to qualify" in the sense that they didn't qualify directly through their group. Ghana, like all teams the teams from Africa, went through the playoff in Round 3 of CAF qualifying after winning their group.
No way, man. I'm going to try for one silver lining per week until the Cup kicks off. Here's this week's: England is ********ed.
My silver lining is that there are going to be a lot of Americans jumping to support Cameroon, which is a team I've already been supporting.
Was just thinking... should SKC defeat RSL tomorrow and it be assumed that home field advantage gave tehm the winning edge, would the RSL fans blame KC for keeping two pieces of silverware out of their hands or blame DC for keeping all three?
Well, this is kind of annoying: Matt Besler just appeared on Doug Gottlieb's national CBS Sports show to talk World Cup draw. They got through all that, then Gottlieb then asked him about Saturday's game. Saturday's SEC Championship football game, that is. Not a single peep about the MLS Cup final that Besler is about to play in. Good grief.
