Quite correct. So where do we go from here? I'm now totally convinced it's time to totally re-assess the team. It's telling that both Pavone and Emana got subbed out. Your two starting forwards get yanked. Emana should not have played. Don't know if he needed more time coming back from injury but he played like he did in his first couple of games. Pavone to me is not a big time player. I don't see him getting better with time. I'm willing to give Emana some more time especially since this will be his first full pre-season with Cruz Azul, but the whole Pavone situation needs to be looked at. I would be giving a lot more playing time to Napoles and Amione. We need to re-build (yet again). I wonder what Memo is thinking right about now?
I think Emana is past his time, and I agree with your assessment of Pavone. I think we should start with a change of coach. To me Memo is not what this team needs. It's almost like everyone is just too passive and comfortable just playing giving half effort. You can't live of memories all the time, this team can not be consider a big team anymore.
wow, Corona would be the last guy I would get rid of. We always do things backwards - shouldn't the team get a coach first before deciding what to do with the current roster? Maybe the new guy will have some ideas of his own. Yes I'm being sarcastic, we all know the coach is the last to know.
